If so, how many weeks before harvest? Is your water ph balanced?

Depends on the tds you use. A low tds of 400ppm will need less flushing.

I do 2 weeks with pH balanced water though.. matter of preference. Seen many people grow wicked weed with no flush.

Yes I always flush with flora Kleen and the RO water is always Ph adjusted.

Only Organic grows don't need to be flushed, everyone else should imo.

Right on Zandor I forgot people still grow with chemicals. I would flush the crap out of them if using chemies.

Karmaxul, what nutes are you using that are organic? I tried using organics and got slimy roots. I adjusted the ph and watched the ppms.

Thanks Zandor. I am getting slimy roots and algae. Nice to hear you are back. I feel better already.

Thanks bluefunk.

I use organic nutrients as well, and I do a flushing session every 3 weeks. I use PH adjusted (ph5.8) water with enzymes. After the flushing session I use Mycorhizza spores too get my fungal collony up to strenght again. 2 weeks before harvest I do a thoural flushing session, after that flush I stop giving them nutrients and only give water/mycorhizza/enzymes mix with a ph of 6.0.

But that's only my humble methode.

Many people believe a good cure and a lowish ppm at harvest time will do all a flush will do. I personally flush for 2 weeks with pH'd water

If you have alga in your roots then you have problems. Add some H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) to your res about 5ml per gallon. Then fix your light leak problem. Some B1 added to your res would be a good idea too about 10ml per gallon.

I adjust the ph durring all phases of the grow and flowering. Plant needs a certain ph for it to be able to absorb the nutr. Also one thing I do is change the res. once a week and when do this run just water for 24 hr to prevent nutr. lockup. Before harvest will flush for 7 days. Dry then cure. Nice smoth smoke. Ther now I have done it need to light up.

I'm sure I've just misunderstood you but how does running water through the rez for a week help prevent nute lockup?

Plants store nutes such as P so pure water not only washes excess ions out of the medium but also helps move them out of the plant via transpiration.

yes i know but how does that prevent nute lockup is my question

They are getting less nutes (ions) and the medium is getting rinsed a bit. Not sure I understand your question.
