Hey can any of you fine worldly people out there give me a recommendation of a "compassionate care clinic" or other medical facility where one could obtain a marijuana prescription (I think it's called a 215 card in California). I just don't want to get to San Francisco and not know where I going. Any help would be appreciated! Email me:
[email protected] if you don't want to post it here. I understand there's still a lot of conflict between the California laws and the federal laws. Thanks ahead of time!

Before you go to any club make sure that you get your ID card first. To get the card you need your md letter, 25$, and go to the Department of Public Health.
My fav SF clubs are
Green Door
Emmilynns
Love Shack
Golden Triangle
Hemp Center
Mission Street Caregivers
Herbal Releaf
Once you get to the Dept. Public Health ask them for a list of the clubs, or go to google to find a lsiting that suites your needs.
I live in SF. If you need any hep getting around let me know. I would be glad to help you out.

Excellent Dai*ma! Thanks BigHomie! You guys are lifesavers! Do you know if you have to be a California resident? We're currently in Florida and we may be moving in the next couple of weeks, but we're not really sure where we're going. The job market for us has dried up here, and we're taking a look at all of our options. Thanks for the help!

You do have to be a resident but the loopholes are huge. If it's a card you seek when you get here the clubs will guide you through with really no problems. Worse case senerio would be that you have to take 10 minutes and go to the DMV for a state id card. It's really a very simple process.
