I quit ciggerettes 4 days ago, cold turkey after smoking them for 2 years. I feel great, I feel empowered, and more then anything I feel more full and energy and life. The skin on my face is less irritated, my though is clearer, and THE BAGS UNDER MY EYES are gone!!! And my throat and lungs feel less swollen and enflamed. I feel like a new person, man! I strongly urge anyone who is reading this & smokes tobacco to quit because it's pointless and really not worth doubling the number of years your takin' off your life. Not to mention you feel like a million bucks once you have all that nasty nicoteine out of your system. Lose the tobbaccco!!

Yeah, it's amazing isn't it? Tobacco is SO damaging. Yet, with MJ... I just think if people are so worried about the damaging effects of "street" drugs, they should look at tobacco. Addictive, harmful to yourself and others, it's just no good. But, hey, good for you man! It's hard to quite cigarettes what with the shakes and the sweats and all. Good for you!

yeah man, 4 days, infact, i beleive nicoteine leaves your system in 3 if you quit cold turkey so its just getting past those three days then no more cravings, well, atleast for me

I was pretty sure it took at least 2 weeks for the nicotine to be completely out of your system, and to have the actual addiction gone.

It takes about seven years for your system to be like normal. That's what I heard several years ago.
