he might try to act like a good parent after and search you and stuff. if he finds out, he finds out. If not, why risk a lecture by telling him?

i'm not telling him and he couldnt search me cause i dont live there and my stuffs not there plus i'm only there for two or three days
if he didnt say anything to you about looking at it, and bought it for you, he may not as long as your responsible with it.

I agree completely pogmoasa, sometimes parents are smart as hell when they hide stuff. I found a cutout(a piece of wood that could be easily taken out and put back in..kind of like a ghettofied safe) in the headboard of my parents bed, nothing in it at the time but I check every so often out of curiosity.

when my dad was alive, he would laughw hen I'd watch cheech and chong, and read high-times, because he was safe in the fact that I didn't do it (yet), and he probably thought I thought it was just something funny to read as well. He was extremely strict, and got pissed off when I'd drink one of his non-alcoholic beers because it "has SOME alcohol in it"
I never told him about my first time smoking cannabis, not even my mom, because of the guilt... he would definately not approved. he was the kind of guy that if I listened to music that swears alot, he wouldn't care, he'd laugh at their profanity, but if I ever swore, he'd scream at me.
He passed away Thanksgiving of 2005, and that December, shortly after Christmas, I got high, and was freaking out on it,a nd told my mom. She said that what I did was sutpid, but she had done it when she was a teenager, so she can't be a hipocrite.
She knew my friends smoked, and was cool with them, but lately, I've been doing it almost every day for the past three weeks, and she knows, and at first, she was mean to me while I was high, but now, she tells me I'm stoned whenever I order so much food (because I am, lol). She's seen me pull out my bong and weed from my hiding spot in the china cabinet in the family room, and doesn't care. She jokinging (I think) told me to save some for her and her friend (who were both hippies in the old days). Yesterday I invited her to smoke with my friend and I but she politely said no.
All in all, I'm fortunate to have a supportive mom. I love her.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I know it is really tough and painful, but trust me, it will get better.

Thanks Nikita123. I made a mistake, he died Thanksgiving of 04, which seems like it was just a month ago. I can't believe how long it's been, but yeah, you're right, it does get better, but you never stop missing them.
