He's cool and I respect him a ton as an artist and all, but I've never really been into his music. It's not bad, but I don't burn them on a cd or nothing. I kind of liked the hurt cover he did, but it's prolly cause I liked the original so much.

Yah, I'm a pretty big fan of him. I too have to say that he's prolly the only country music artist I like besides ole' Hank williams jr. of course. I really like his style, as odd as it is. Cash is a badass.
Speaking of, anyone seen "Walk the Line" yet? I'm sure someone has, so how was it?

I LOVE Johnny Cash....you have not lived until you have heard Folsom Prision Blues (Live from Folsom Prison.)
Although my favorite Cash song is "Five Feet High and Rising"
There are a lot of truely great Country singers....people for the most part don't get into country music because it's not considered "cool." There are a million of them that kick ass.
George Jones
Merle Haggard
Charlie Daniels
Charlie Pride
Hank Williams Jr.
Willie Nelson
I could go on and on.

I thought I explained this the last time I said this; maybe no one read it. Teenspot is a website. It's not about being a teenager. I am a teenager myself. Go to teenspot.com, then go to somethingawful.com, or basically any other forum, and compare the posts of different people, who are both the same age. I'm making a joke because more and more often these forums are filled with "Have you heard of them?" threads, with names like Led Zeppelin and Johnny Cash. His movie just came out! If you were too young to know about him before then, surely you should know his name now. You're just assuming that I'm making fun of teenagers: I'm actually making fun of the similarities between anyone here and anyone on teenspot.com.

Newman? anyways hes my great uncle and him, my dad and willie nelson all hung out at jimmys ranch and tried to ride bulls while drunk. and willie got kicked off, this is just what my dad told me so pretty cool man, we cajuns kick ass!

I just saw Walk the line last night, thought it was pretty good. My kids liked it too. I felt sorry for Johney because his dad was so mean to him... any way some of my fav. country singers are:
Tim McGraw
Toby Keith
Brooks N Dunn
Montgomery Gentry
F -- Gretchen Wilson
Faith Hill
Deana Carter
And I love 70's N 80's Bands
"ive been everywhere man"
i didnt know he sang that until i saw a commercial for his greatest hits and that was on it. i hate country, but i dig a little johnny cash. not to mention i do love his cover of hurt, i think he was perfect to do that.
