as i prostrate my self i beseech the Mighty HYDRO Gods and beg their mercies. Bless me O'LORDS of the HYDRO with thy devine guidence and pure truth .....LOL no judt kiddin ...stoned actually BUT i do have a big problem and its to do with lighting. so again please if ya kno please tell

im out of the closet you dudes who seen my 1st pics on "ziggys 1st grow" seen me inna 2x2 tray with 8 ladies well from there it was to a 3x5 closet now im gettin in to a 5x8 BUT....

im lookin at it and i know ill get to the rest of the room its like 8x12 i know im puttin 2 more lights to the 2 i have now (400W) will that be enough or can i get away with mounting a 600 inbetween them?

ive read from cervantes re: reflectors - and my Q is HOW in the heck do i mount the lights ...inna row and/or side by side? vents No and So end to end ? side by side E and W? i know theres a efficient way to line em up but how? the reflectors are air cooled econo-gros

and by the way my hunies are almost 24"tall (10 t0 14 leaf sets and closing on top) at 6.5 weeks and ill post tomrrow for those intrested.

Ummm....

Try drawing a top view of the room... and then drawing four circles in your room. Try and put those circles as effectively as possible over the plants' area.

I mean, that's what I'd do.

I said 4 circles because you're going to have 4 bulbs, right?

yup 4 MH fixt w conv bulbs for floweriing i also have the option of mounting a 600W fix as well

remember i also need help with HOW to orient the lamps

What's the room's dimensions? Length x width?

Light orientations... parallel to the ground.

The long axis of the bulb, should be from side-to-side...

RM = 8' X 12' i only have 4 400W lights BUT i also have a 600W light i was gonna use for seedlings in the closet i just vacated (3' x 5')

ok if i mount them side by side every 3' on the long axis will there be enough light on the sides as the shorter axis is 8'?

i ask cuz ive seen graphs in cervantes that show the horiz mounted bulbs are weak top and base and if i mount side by side wont there be a really bright centerline and a weak parameter?...this is gettin me stressed i cant fuck this up man
