LONGROD STABONER

Anyone know how long it takes for 3 week old plants to recover from an accidental over fertilization? I was using miracle grow every watering instead of once every other week. All the plants look like crap some worse than others. The ones with the most curled and browning leaves are definately screwed up, but I'm not sure if I should chuck em and start over, that would be a huge waste of time (3 week old plants) if there is any hope of the plants coming back. I watered the crap put of em to dilute then switched to a straight waterering schedule. I pruned a bunch of the dead and drying leaves but the whole lot of plants look like crap. I can't prune most as that would leave them with little or no leaves at all. (some plants definately pulled through better thsan others. I have a top shelp ventilation system and are using a baking soda vinegar drip for c02. If I could just get them big enought so I can clone em to start the sexing. Is is ok to clone plants that are 3 weeks old but only 3.5-4 inches.? I would feel better about having a bunch of stunted plants slacking off in my cloning area if I knew at least they were on the way to being sexed. As is, I am starting to feel like I have the worlds first rest home for disabled plants. About 100, 3 week old plants are effected.

first DONT USE MIRACLE GROW i did the same thing once, but i would suggest to flush long under luke_warm water then put under flouros and get super thrive solutionand apply modestly. and if ur plants have 3 or more nodes(where the leaf branches out from plant) then u can take a couple plants and take a sterile razor, and olivias cloning solution and gel, mix water soulution in wide cup or plate withflat bottom, then then cut plant at base as low as possible, take cutting and place under water solution, cut at 45 degree angle directly on node across the stem, all under water (important) then directly place cut into gel then put into rockwool cube in an acrodome under flouros and keep moist and hummidity to close to 100% as possiple. if done right u should see root mass in 2-3 weeks.best of luck to u u can contact me through Instant mess. at [email protected] or email me

This is the info you're looking for

Miracle grow... Well all the experienced growers i've spoken too all tell the same story. That stuff just isn't what it's cracked up to be. Sounds miraculous, but it's spectaculess :) sry for the silly wordplay i'm baked

it's good stuff if used properly. i use it and have for many years, both indoors and out. i am not saying it's the best, it isn't. it just works well for me...my pics are around here and marihemp to prove my words are true...

i use it at 1/3 to 1/2 strength of what the directions calls for and only apply it once every 10 days, at most. iow, for an indoor grow they only get ferts 2-3 times total before flowering...when i switch to "pure blend-pro". an outdoor grow can handle more so i jump it up to 1/2 strength every week.

now for your prob...i suggest starting a new batch of seeds immediately. seedlings don't take well to any fertilyzers for the 1st few weeks and their root system isn't developed enough to handle a good soaking. but don't give up on em...GENTLY flush with room temp water until soil runs clear. when it's clear, give em a dose of super-thrive or other stress reducing hormone solution then leave em be for a week (assuming they're in one gal minimum pots...much depends on the pot size as far as timing). the last thing ya want to do is disturb the roots. keep the fans running so the water in the soil can evaporate as quickly as possible and do not add more water until soil has dried to the point your plants are wilting a bit. if the soil gets too clumpy or hard, use a toothpick or similar to gently break it up a bit for good drainage and so air can get down to the roots (but not too much)...then begin your normal care for them.
