My alarm clock

My standard one never woke me up, even the alarm on my phone sometimes doesn't wake me up, in fact nothing can. So I came up with this. The idea was that it would actually wake me up. I put it on the other side of the room so I have to get out of bed to turn it off.

Am I the only guy insane enough to come up with crazy stuff like this?

And yes it does work, I have used it 5 times with 100% success rate!

ya i too have a problem with getting up my new way off getting up is drinkin alot right before i go to bed and than in like 6 hours later i have to piss and it wakes me up in "light" sleep cuz the pissin urge isnt strong enough to wake me up in deep sleep so i always wake up good so far its only worked once im still tryin to get it down to a science

Isn't that a bit risky though, what if you imagine you are awake and by the toilet and just take a piss? It happened to me 10 years ago! When I woke up it was way too late! :o

And if anyone is wondering, that extension I have the drill plugged into is 100% homemade. It was originally a variable voltage socket I made with my cousin, it had a dimmer switch on the left but the idiot wired it up wrong and blew the dimmer up. So I just nicked a really long cable off an old vacuum cleaner and wired that up instead so I can use it as an extra extension lead.

WTF is it? A drill plugged into a timer? If it works then go with it. I'll stick to my regular one for now ;)
