Here is an 1/8th I just scored from a buddy for this weekend. I know what you're thinking, it is gonna be really hard to wait until the weekend, but I got midterms this week and really need to study and concetrate (well, maybe a couple of bowls won't hurt :D ). Anyways, got it for $60, a little more than I wanted to spend, but it seems to be the going rate for LA. Let me know what you think.

Yeah, it's an 1/8th. Never got a chance to weigh it, but I got it from my best friend, so I trust him. I will try to get some close up pics later tonight.

Wow, you're right, it is an apple bag, never saw that before. And yeah, from everyone I've talked to down here, $60 is the price for an 1/8th. Here are some more pictures, I know they suck, piece of crap camera, but it's the best I could do.

Around here standard for 1/8 is $50, it varies by area.

Unfortunately good buds in California can cost 40-60$ per 1/8th. I live in SF and know people who go to Mendocino to purchase. 200$ per ounce up there. You can also buy lbs. of leaf for 100$ that is good for making ice water hash or kief out of. Good for baking and butter also.
In San Francisco's medicinal cannabis clubs the prices are different in the clubs. The Love Shack has 1/8ths of good bud for 40$ Others may charge 50-65$, depending on rent, overhead, etc etc.
Hopefully if we can get enough people growing and flood the markets we can get prices down. Until then i try to get by using my walkin-closet for personal medical use. Growing is fun at first but when you do it because you have to do it and the only options are paying outrageous prices, you do what you have to do. It becomes quite a chore. Very time consuming. And when you make most of your cash playing gigs , like i do, time to rest and relax means everything. Fuck, i think i need Oprah.

I have never payed more than 45 for an eighth, and I live in LA. A friend of mine used to hook it up with 60 for a q. But hey, supply and demand I guess.
