hey all, for those of you who remember that literature still exists and is so much more fulfilling than tv and movie, ive got a great book suggestion.

its called The Four Agreements

its so deep, but somewhat simple to understand.

In The Four Agreements, don Miguel Ruiz reveals the source of self-limiting beliefs that rob us of joy and create needless suffering. Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, the Four Agreements offer a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love.

the 4 lessons this book offers are:

Be Impeccable with your word.
Dont take anything personally
Dont make assumptions
always do your best.

this isnt like some cheesy motivational book. its describes how all of these emotions are fake, man made. and how you can eliminate them. its so amazing.

check it out!

While we're on the subject of good books, why not try

Thus Spoke Zarathustra parts 1-4
by Friedrich Nietzche

Great, great book. Very intense reading, though. It takes me five minutes for each page and I'm usually a very fast reader.

definitly not a novel, 138 pages long
its motivational on a very deep level. it doesnt just say, be honest.
it tells you how to be true to yourself and what the benefits of doing so are.

ect.

im usually not a big reader, but i havent been able to put this book down.

I've read "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Toltec Wisdom", it is written by don Miguel Ruiz's protege. It deals with many of the ideas of the Four Agreements as well. I agree, very amazing and profound.
