I'm currently reading The Emperor and I like it so far.

Are there any other good cannabis/marijuana books? I looked in my library and only saw 4 books about Marijuana and only one of them looked interesting.

I don't know if I want to check out a library book about Marijuana though... I don't know if my parents or anyone else can see a record or anything and it would be awkward checking it out. I considered stealing it but that's kind of low and not like me.

They prolly have some security device anyways. They have those things you have to walk through like detectors and I don't want to risk getting in trouble over a book.

Maybe I'll just read it in the library lol.

Also, any good magazines? I've looked at hightimes and it had a bunch of pictures but I don't know how much content it actually had.

The Cannabis Grow Bible is good. Sure it's basically showing you how to grow but it arms you with alot of knowledge about it man..

It depends what type of book your looking for, i'm not realy interested in the history of marijuana. I just ordered Hard t Swallow from amazon (about smuggiling condomsfull of THC oil from india) and I also read King of Nepal wich was a great book.

They arent about how to grow weed or anything but Mr Nice & Dope Stories by Howard Marks are good reads, Dope Stories especially if you are into other drugs as well.

They don't have those kinds of books here. The closest thing you can get to any kind of drug books are Mushroom books.

I happen to have a few that my dad gave some time ago. He was going to toss them and I told him I would take them. Both are from the 70's, but I have them right here:

The Inside Dope on Marijuana:
The Gourmet Guide to Grass
By Mahash Isuyhash and Garry Rusoff

A good book. Has everything from drawn pictures of how to roll an "American Style" joint, and the same thing only to roll an "English Style" joint. The English style has the option of using tobbacco, and is used using 3 rolling papers. I have used it a few times and works great. Also has a very interesting history on the healing powers of cannabis, it's use, the effects, what to do while stoned, cooking recipes, propaganda, lots of shit.

The other one I have here is:

A Child's Garden of Grass
by Jack S Margolis and Richard Clorfene

This was is okay. Pretty much the same of the other one, but less interesting. Has way more recipes though, which is pretty sweet, also, has picture diagrams on how to make a "Steamboat" and other homeade bongs.

All pretty cool books all in all. I just like how they refer to cannabis as "grass." Sounds so hippyish. :)

Yeah, there was a really good one, published in 1999. Can't remember the name of it, though, check it out!

I'll post a link to various books in new thread. Let me know if d/l is completed.
