As we all know thc is very effective to chronic pain (esp. neurologic). So in that aspect it might help. But since this a drug that no one really researches, trail and error is all the science community can offer. The major cause to chronic panreatitis is etoh consumpution along with a few other genetic disorders. So if smoking pot stops you from having that martini on the weekends then yes, pot is helping. Only you can answer if it helps with the pain after eating meals. Good luck bud i hope you get it under control.

I have Celiac disease, and it's helped me.
BTW, it seems that there are connections between Celiac Sprue (gluten intolerance) and pancreatitis . Have you been tested for Celiac? Even if the test is negative, or if you do not want to get tested, a gluten free diet may help you.
From what I understand, all new pancreatitis patients in England are routinely tested for Celiac.
Good luck.
