Well, I'm not big on the idea of using as soil as the starting medium in for seeds in my rockwool, so I was wondering what people think of using only perlite? I'm trying it with some vegetable seeds first as a test and they seem to be sprouting. Are there any concerns with this method? Or does it not work as well as others?

I am doing my 1st grow in canadian trays/drip using perlite; Watch for thread

I use Hydroton and love it, but I was getting bored and needed to find out how good perlite was for my tomato/pepper plants...Funny, I am experimenting on my MMJ palnts to help me grow tomato's.

you should not have any problem...If this tidbit of info helps? Commercial Hydrofarms that I have researched; Use a drip method into Beto buckets filled with perlite. later.lw
