i would say honda makes the most quiet ones out there. but they are not cheap.

Honda, at least their premium lineup, is the BEST ... you will pay for that quality ... but, if you plan on running a growroom on a generator, you must know even the most gas-thirsty generators will only run 2-2.5 hours on a gallon of gas ... I have researched this quite thoroughly, and best I've found was a claimed 3.5 hours per gallon @ 1/2 rated, and that was on a cheap, China-made little 1800-watter ... hope you own a gasoline refinery ... :stoned:

hi,, im also looking for a deisel generator,, for £177 you can have it converted in to LPG which you can buy from 31p-50p per litre,, or red diesel for £12 for 25 litres,, either way is quite cheap,, a m8 of mine uses diesel 2 run 4x600watts on 40 plants and pulls between 80 and 100 oz,,
