I'm in an appt too & you have these little odour neutralisers available on the market, normally it's for sale in most convenience stores. Try not to look for masking scent, but neutralising scent. (Anti-tobacco spray helped actually for me in first weeks of veg, in flowering I got a odour neutraliser that you can plug into the electr., close to the door where the smell escapes into the hallway)
It would be a shame man :( but better than getting caught for sure. A good grower is a cautious grower. Best of luck, and take a look at your options before you jump to conclusions. Extensive pot-pourri treatments, incense, excessive use of deodorant can sometimes help... Low-budget all the way man.

Yeah dude... build a carbon air scrubber.... buy activated carbon @ the pet shop, and use that...
Don't kick-out your plants because they smell!
Imagine if your mother had done the same when you shit all over your self!
As gK says, have some love...

Damn it gK, you put me on the spot... you lazy-ass... arghh...
Hehehe...
Anyways, I'm more stoned now... sooo.... let's see if this works.
If you give a fish to a man, you feed him for one day... if you teach him to fish? ...
So, with that, I'll present the idea behind the carbon air scrubber... it's up to you to decide how do you wan to design and build it.
The idea is to use activated carbon to remove the air's odors.
What I'll do is build a 12"x12" box... about 6" tall.
In that box, place a window screen @ the bottom, and a layer of activated carbon on top. Optional is to put a layer of polyester filling in there... then, place another window screen over that, and another layer of carbon.
I plan on doing 3 layers.
Hook up your air intake to one side, your air exhaust to the other... air, should be scrubbed.
I plan on placing this scrubber box on the top of my cabinet, and my exhaust Dayton on the top of that scubber box. So, all the air exiting my cabinet will pass through those 3 layers of activated carbon.
I know there are people that don't run the scrubber like that... they place it in their rooms, just filtering air... not a spefic air path... and they say it removes the smell.
There... maybe these aren't instructions "for morons", but, hopefully they'll help somehow.
Best,

Yeah... instead of the window screens and the polyester filling, you can get furnace filters.... I trully don't know if they come with the activated carbon... I think not.
I think you should buy the filters, and place activated carbon over them...
