High fructose corn syrup is put in more than 80 percent of all processed foods. I read somewhere that it suppresses the signals to our brain that tell us when we are full, so we just keep on eating.
ok now
....debate it or something....

Corn regularly gives mice and other small mammals cancer. This is why you're starting to see corn-free feeds pop up. Just say no to corn as a filler.

I don't think corn itself is giving cancer, but think it is probably ferts, insecticides, and genetics

Just use organic corn masa...and sunflower oil. I eat mainly organic foods. And I am sure some don't realize it but some small private farmers in AL grow corn from seeds that are passed down each year...and have been doing that for a long time....oh yeah..if you ever grow corn..best to put 3 kernels (seeds) in each hole..I just watch people do things so if I ever have to attempt to grow my own food..I will have a small clue...

Yep, that has a lot to do with it too. In countries like India, where they walk everywhere, NO ONE IS FAT. Except for the rich people who ride rikshas and taxis. The human body was designed to walk.

Dude, something that "you read somewhere" is not worth debating. Who the fuck is "somewhere"? Did Bozo the clown say it? Did GW Bush say it? (but I repeat myself). Cite your source and then there might be something to discuss other wise this is thirdhand rumors.

Corn? Who gives a shit about corn.
What about fast food, or school cafeterias, or pre-packaged food loaded with MSG's and salt?
Corn is the last thing I'd be afraid of. Yeesh.

Yep thats the problem. It's not just the food, It's all the dam chemicals they put in it. They make weed illegal because of the chemical thats in it, Then turn around and put chemicals in what we eat thats a helluva lot worse on our bodies.

Yes Organic is the way to go... I grow my own veggies in the summer,I try to get heirloom seeds when I can find them... I still have tomato seeds from my deceased grandma that go back to the Ukraine were she brought them with her to the US 90+ years ago...
My supermarket had cherries that were doubles, two cherries grown together like Siamese twins... Upon research the trees were genetically altered, that can mean animals were used in the process... There is a code prefix on every fruit and Veg in the store, there are codes for Organic, non organic, genetically altered... I don't have the code prefix's on me right now,but they can be google as that is how I got them...

It is YOUR job to support your statement - if you want to be taken seriously that is. Other people dont have to run around finding support for your statment. Most of what ppl spout is bullshit and not worth the effort to chase down. Especially on Cannabis.com which is infested with stoned morons who ought to be donated to medical experiments! If you think you have something worth debating do the work and present it - otherwise it doesnt carry any weight.

hydrogenated, and trans fats are worse than high fructose corn syrup. More bad things are bovine growth hormones in cows gives people cancer. Aspartame is another one as well, from diet sodas.

My grandmother always dried some tomatoes for seed of the next years crop... Yes I am lucky to have gotten the last batch before she died... I pray every year that they sprout... Sorry the seeds are sacred to me,I actually had a offer from a grower and refused it... My grandma was always in the news papers for winning state prizes for the largest veg... I have two varieties one is yellow and acid free and one grows gigantic tomato's,bigger than bigboys... I have a news paper photo of here winning the biggest state tomato... I will scan it and post it...

that goes for all carbates, in fact carbates are slave food, meant to feed minds into complacent concent.
Easy to grow, easy to store, very easy to eat, makes you fat fast.
><
Fat is 9 calories per gram, and carbates are 4, as is protien. Fat is the penultimate food source for a human body, with supporting water to break down the fat, protein and a small tertiary amount of carbates, just to keep ketone levels adaquate in teh mind.
Carbs in excess make your brain stem fat, and your lower organ functions lazy.
BOO YEAH!

Sorry I forgot I said I would post a pic... This is one is from the Newark Evening News in NJ... She won that year for biggest tomato!!!
People will cringe when I say this... Her fertilizer was Chicken manure in a burlap bag in a 55 gallon drum... She filled the drum with water and fed each plant a pot full of water once every week or so...

Back with News seal (http://themoddepot.com/stuff/me/Picture 003.png)
The picture is crinkled because it was in the garbage when I rescued it... I was afraid to scan it because i have a feed scanner and I thought it might eat it,but it did not,I am glad I did it,now I have a good copy...
I know no one else has interest so lemme know when you see it so I can take them down...

Pretty sure I read somewhere that your liver has problems dealing with a high fructose diet, you can end up with some sort of liver failure. I'll have a look round for a link or something. Hopefully I didn't just imagine reading it.

Was wrong about the liver thing, bad for your heart though, although I supose know everythings bad for you in some way. There are plenty worse things around I suppose and I'd imagine so long as you didn't chug bottles of the stuff you'd be fine.
