Yesterday on February 21, someone sprayed a locker with axe and lit it on fire.
They police and the school is saying I did it, but thats not true. Theres lots of circumstantial evidence. The locket that was set on fire is all the way across the room from where I change.
Here is why people think it is me (by the way, I do stupid pointless stuff all the time, you will see lots of that in here):
In the locker room after PE, my friend had a tissue, which he blew his nose in. My other friend was like "Hey, lite that shit on fire" so I did it with his lighter. The tissue crumpled up and fell on the floor. I then stepped on it to put it out. I picked up the pieces of black and white tissue and looked for a garbage can. I couldnt find one right away, so I just threw them into an empty locker. Lots of people throw thier trash in there. There was absolutly no flame lit at the time I left. I do not remember if I was the last one to exit, the only thing i remember is the fact that I left with my two friends. 10 minutes later, the fire alarm went off and the fire department and police came. On the speaker, they said theres a small fire in the boys locker room and its under control. The next day, I got pulled out of class and was asked to tell my story. People saw me lite the tissue on fire, which is obviously a concern, but It doesnt prove shit. While I was telling my story they asked me who the other two people were and I decided not to give names at first. I then asked "Will they get in trouble" and the police said "No, we're just trying to get all the information," so I told them the names. There is what looks like a burn on my right hand, but it is just a cut with dark blue sharpee in it. I dont know if this will make any difference, but my sister saw the cut before and after the sharpee. There is also a 2nd degree burn on my left arm from when I burned myself with a cigarrete on purpose.
Ill just give a list of the "evidence" they have against me followed by my contradictions.
1) The tissue may have accidently set the locker on fire.
I would have had to spray the axe all over the locker. Lite the tissue, bring it all the way across the room, lite the locker, and then put the burned tissues into a locker on the other side from where the fire started. Makes no sence.
2) The "burn" on my right hand:
That was there for over a week. People saw it after I climbed the flag pole. My mom saw it. I dont think this is very good evidence.
3) The cigarrete burns on my left arm:
I smoked cigarretes after my drug group at the hospital, and I have a history if hurting myself for no good reason.
4) Time of Day and the fact that I was playing with fire:
Theres really nothing anyone can say. Just coincidence.
I forgot to add this in the story, but the friend that gave me the lighter, is denying it to the school. This is causing a problem because the principle is like "why are we getting two different storries if you are telling the truth."
Im really stressed out right now and I would immagine that you had a hard time understanding what's going on. Any questions at all, just ask. I need all the help I can get.
