Ecstasy 1st Timer

I'm gonna sound like a complete tool here, but the weekend is coming up and I have been offered ecstasy for when we go out.

I've never done it before and have no clue how much to take or what effect it will have. I've done coke in the past, is it similar in any way?

Basically, I just wanna get my facts straight before doing it. What are the effects of drinking with the drug. I know drinking too much water is very bad, but would a small amount of alcohol hurt?

Personally, I dont like drinking alcohol with E - its ruins the high because its a depressant, and E is an upper - why mix the two?
Also, dont drink too much or too little water - just sip water every so often and keep cool.
1 pill will be ok for your first time, but make sure its coming from someone you trust, and preferably someone who has already tried them.
Its a very controllable drug - you will walk and talk the same as normal, its mostly your mood/mindset that changes - from doing just ok, to feeling incredibly euphoric, on top of the world - sooo happy and you cant wipe the smile off your face.
5 things you must do on E

1)Smoke a joint
2)Listen to music
3)Go clubbing/to a rave
4)Go a walk outside
5)Hug someone/receive a massage.

If you get a good E, you are more or less guaranteed to like it. And it depends on your personality type but E is far better than coke, longer lasting and cheaper

i have been completly shit faced and then popped a few pills, i like it dont know if its good or not but im still alive

for your first time you should take maybe 1 or 1 and a half

as for the effects, you will feel very happy and have alot of energy

no, but they are from my friends stash, and he uses them all the time. He reckons theyre good, but i wouldnt even know where to begin

they're good stuff (better with a joint), but make sure you do them with someone - and you can't help but look after each other (water, chewing gum, whatever)...
coke is a totally different drug - so that won't help your ideas about pills anyway.

dont drink and do e. when rolling, you drink water to keep you from dehydrating. and alcohol causes you to dehydrate, so its not a good combo. besides, just rolling and then getting high is awesome. yeah sips of water occasionally, music, hugging/touching people, and just have fun. maybe straws or a pacifier(im a straw person) to chew on so you dont grind your teeth. your jaw will prolly be sore for a few days after, but thats ok.

I avoid drinking when doing E, same reason that sensi said, any depressant shouldent be mixed with it, its just the way the drug is man to good of an experiance to waste with a depressant.

I've drank nearly 2 bottles of red wine, and 3 pints of bitter (earlier on in the day), before taking 3 pills - i've now drank nearly 2 litres of water (which is a bit too much) but a boozy pill is always fun, if you can keep your water drinking habits under wraps.

Just an update guys!
I just want to thank you for all the advice, I really did take it on board.
I did 2 pills on saturday night, whilst visiting my friend at uni. I had never met his friends before and we went to a very very heavy drum and bass club in bristol, by the end of the best night of my life, I felt like i'd known all of them for years. We all looked after each other and sorted each other out with gum and water. We were in the club for 9 hours and it was awesome. I've never been so happy!

I'll definately be doing them again!

New years eve i got really drunk and took £15 of mdma crystals, and 2 pills as far as i can remember. To me, it felt amazing, i felt far more euphoric than normal. However different people, different opinions.
