males are somewhat bad..ummm ok
But i heard that you can change a male into a female by clipping of there pollen ballz.???which would still make them flower as a female(hermafidite) spelling is way off--- & you don't have to worrie about females getting seedey....
If anyone one knowz anything that would be great....Thanks:thumbsup:

YOU CANNOT MAKE A MALE INTO A FEMALE, you can stress it till it hermies but i wouldn't recommend this. males are not bad! if there were no males then we would not have any pot at all! i assume what you are thinking of is this, if you have a female plant that goes hermie in flower, you can remove all the male flowers as they appeaer to lessen the amount of seeds in the buds. you have to be very diligent to do this. all it takes is 1 male flower to seed the grow! it won't be super seeded from 1 hermie but there will be seeds! i had a plant go hermie at about 4weeks flowering. i searched and removed the hermies every third day until the plant finished and only got about 5-6 seeds totall. it took 1-3 hours evry time i had to look for the hermies! it's alot of work but if persistant you can save the grow!

remember also, some of this crazy cross-breeding is the cause of your hermies! It is in their genes, so to speak.
In answer to your query; you cannot change the sex of a male into anything that will produce anything that you would want to spend a lot of time and money on, to produce something that you wouldn't want to smoke in the first
place...
The growth of seeds ceases the production of resin/thc, and you get an oily bud instead of a resin glazed bud...at least in my experience.
I let them go now, if they are in the middle of flower. That gives the seeds time to mature. This only/mostly happens when growing from seed...imho
Get you a good mother and clone...much safer, higher yield/potency...(throwin'outalinefishbait) and you know what you are getting. Every year start a new batch of seeds and pick a new mother...Flower the old Mother and you will have a tree full of bigbud...sorry, just rambling on...that BBJack is GOOD!!! later.lw

i keep my bonsai mothers for about 8 months. after that i would have to root prune so i just start a new one. i find after extended veg time you start to get alot of fat preflowers and the stems get really woody, even the new growth doesn't seem to have the nice thin green stems that i like for cloning.
great information latewood!

yes, leave the seed making to the breeders.
