It looks like a magnesium deficiency to me, but Im not all that sure :o

Try getting a hold of some Epsom salts - I got mine from the pharmacy, a massive pot full of it for £1.50 (which is about $4, if that). Im really not sure how much to use though. Sorry I couldnt help further :confused:

the coloring is brown, rest of leave is lush green.

The leave still feels soft and is not burnt....

The brown patch almost looks rusty colored...

well, now it looks completely black to me...sounds like mag def. to me (sight unseen), pic, way to dark for my tired old eyes

How old is plant...what kind of medium...hydro or soil???

My advice would be to lob some Epsom salts in with your water (not sure on how much). They cost less than £2, or $5 for a decent sized tub (go to yer local chemist, they should have some).
Theyre also used for constipation, if youre interested ;)
