It sure doesn't hurt too many people. Check out this Memorials page on Drugfree.com. Where's the marijuana?

It's not really that simple mate!

Just becaue people dont die from smoking marijuana doesn't mean it is completely harmless. I find it hilarious when people totally dismiss any negative effects from cannabis.

A lot of these people probably started by smoking cannabis, which without question alters the mindset!

Again, its not really that simple!!

The main reason cannabis leads onto harder drugs is because the dealers that cannabis smokers go to have harder stuff than cannabis. Simple as. If it was legal you wouldnt have to go to shady dealers anymore.

I have a defence for any anti-marijuana information lol. Most of the stuff that people think about marijuana is bullshit.

THE PROBLEM IS: thinking that marijuana's a problem.

Before this guy (below) was into hard drugs, his parents had sent him to rehab, as an early teen, just because of marijuana (well, alcohol, too). Rehab is not somewhere you want to spend your early-teen years.

My son Jesse??s drug and alcohol use started around age 14 and by 15 he was smoking marijuana daily. He had no motivation and school fell to the bottom of his ??to do? list. We forced Jesse into treatment, however, it was a very short stay
Jesse in 10th grade.
and he was soon using again. Jesse also began using other drugs ?? you name it, he tried it.

By age 16 Jesse was using crack cocaine and shortly after became addicted to heroin. His life became a living hell and so did ours. I guess you could say we became addicted to our addicted son.

It sounds like they were addicted long before their son's addiction began.

Shouldn't alcohol be considered the true "gateway" substance?

cannabis is a gateway drug because people who try it want drugs from the start its all self control. most people do start with cannabis but they had drug problems before that they just didn't know it, that what I think at least.

I've read that in the first thirty minutes after smoking marijuana, the chance for a heart attack quadruples. Is this true? I've never heard of anyone dying from a heart attack after smoking weed, but I know it increases your blood pressure.

What are the facts about marijuana, and heart attacks?
