getting a bong...

i'm about to get my very first bong and i need to know how best to take care of it and conceal it from my mother. i've smoked out of a bong before, but i don't know what i need to do with mine. how long do i keep the water in it? is my mother going to be able to smell it? does using liquids other than water have different effects? any help is appreciated.

Put clean water in it at the start of every session, and dump it out when you're done. If I'm gonna be smokin' hella bowls I'll even switch it out mid-session. Just do that and smell shouldn't be a problem. :)

first off, get a glass bong. i have an acrylic and nothing beats glass. just get a nice hand blown slider. yeah clean out the water after everytime, thats what smells the most. spray a little axe or something around it just to be sure. i'd say the best place to conceal would be some sort of cabinet in your room where your parents just dont go. an empty box is also good.

I stick my bubbler in a plastic grocery bag and you can't smell it as long as you don't put you'r nose right next to it.

If i was you Iâ??d buy a fairly cheap bong because as someone said if you buy something like a roor and your mum or dad finds it there goes a hell of a lot of cash the one Iâ??ve got at the moment only cost me something like £16 and Iâ??ve had no problems with it, i keep it in a draw that no one ever needs to go in... as for concealing the smell, poor out the water or what ever you choose to put in it after every session, maybe something other than water would hide the smell more but i haven't tried anything else so i can't really help you there but just open a window that's what usually works imo :rasta:

My mom and dad handled my first bong real well. I said, " Mom, Dad, i love you, i smoke pot,but if you take my bong or break it i will kill you."
I never had a problem with my parents after that. They seemed to of adjusted real well....after being tied up in the basement with a swinging blade getting closer and closer, until they agreed. :dance: :dance:

man i heard gatorade can give the smoke diff tastes and shit, but ive never tried it. when i do, i'll let ya know how it works out. i keep my homemade bong in a like cubby hole thing with a door in my room, haven't changed the water for a week, and still no smell...just burn incense, then spray axe and you're good

Get a cheap small glass one. Can get a good 1 for like 40 bucks. I got a $40 mini and I love it just as much as my 2 footer. Just try to be careful with it, wrap it in a towel or something when storing it so it's semi protected. You can get rid of the small by washing it with water that has some mouth wash in it. If you smoke with the same solution your hits will be crazy intresting flavor wise, I dig it, some don't. You can use almost anything as the liquid and it will give it some effect. alch ain't that great though because it pulls out some of the THC. Just remember with sticky things, like soda, your bong can be sticky and it's best to try and wash it out well after using something like that so it doesn't get your bong all nasty. Flavored water is definetly awesome though. sorry for rambling :D

My two cents would be to forget it. Between hiding it, disposal of the water and the smell your mom is going to pick up it eventually. Take a look at an Aromazap. Then you wouldn't live in fear that your snooping ass mom wont find it. Those damn women have a keen sense of getting into shit they shouldn't. Then agian what do I know?

actually my mom doesn't snoop around. my room smelled like weed for a few days and she never knew because she doesn't go in there.

yea the good ole compuet trick......i had a cd burner drive and it broke so i took it out and then just put the cover back on....i stashed all my shit in there.....the best thing for bongs is to go glass for yer first....u can get a nice glass one for like 20-50 bux.there easy to hide....if u do yer own laundry u may just wanna wrap it up in an old t-shirt or sweater.....i use those cloths that yer grandparents buy u for christmas that u kno u will never wear.....i also stash shit in my hamper cuz my mom makes me do my laundry......just keep it in yer cloths drawer or in between yer bed and wall in a piece of clothing and always wrap the slider up in a platic bag to hide the rez smell
