If you allow it to reach the proper temperature. Don't let your flame touch it for longer than 5 seconds and you'll be fine. If you've let it go too long, you'll taste tin in your mouth.

^ I'm pretty sure one time won't be that dangerous because I did it 3 or 4 times. If you're worried an apple pipe is easy as well.
