Driving while high. Good or bad thing?

I have driven high a couple of times on private streets of course. WHo thinks it is alright do drive high and who thinks it stupid?

I think its alright but there is a point when your too high to drive properly and that will vary with everybody.

I dunno i dont drive, but my friends drive high all the time. They say after the first couple times its no harder than driving sober.

DIDNT YOU EVER SEE THE COMMERCIAL WHERE THE GUY IS HIGH AT THE DRIVE THRU AND HE RUNS OVER THAT LITTLE GIRL????? ...I suppose that could happen, but I drive high a bunch...I find I can drive while high easier if I imagine I'm playing a video game that requires full attention, but then I tend to speed a little. Also, if I get high while driving, its cool, but its a lot harder for me to hop into a cold car when I've got a perfectly good couch in my place.:D

I dont believe it effects me much. I concentrate harder but I dont think it has a negative effect. But I have heard other people saying it makes them slow down

yea i agree when i drive high i concentrate so i dont do anything stupid and space out. haha Everytime theres a car behind me i always think that the person is chasing me or somethin its crazy

I'll smoke a j while driving down the freeway at 120 mph, i was kicking ass at street racing down in Phoenix, AZ, brand new 2005 mustang and i whooped EVERYONE.

Same here, I got alot of old 2-lane roads around where I live so I see driving high as very rexaling. Not sure I would want to get on a crowded freeway in the middle of the city blazed tho.

haha actually my 2 friends and i went into center philly in my friends audi which is tinted so you cant see in it at all. We rolled a blunt and smoked that while driving in center philly. I must say i was scared outta my mind.

I only have my permit, but I have drove high once.This one time my dad was comming to pick me up and he was expecting me to drive us to his house from my moms house.Well I forgot he was comming at 10 and smoked a fat bowl of KB around 9:45.Lets just say I was nervous as shit when I got in the car and put it in drive.Needless to say though I was pretty impresed by my performance.I'm still alive arn't I? :)

I cant drive when I'm high. I couldnt consentrate and in the beginning of my high everything is slower and it feels like I'm 2 steps behind of what my body is doing lol.

Ha, same thing happened to me a week ago. We were going to a show in downtown atlanta and smoked 3 bowls on the ride down (ist about 45min) and by the time I got there, I was scared shitless. THere were cops everywhere and I was getting VERY paranoid. Probably wont do that again...

It's all according to the dope you are smoking... I got into a accident many moons ago because the Jamaican I was smoking slowed down my brain function... In other words: I was doing 45 miles an hour,but it felt like 15... I did not judge properly a stop at a intersection,and BAM...

If you've ever driven across north dakota and eastern montana sober...you'll learn the true meaning of boredom. I try and make sure I have a supply handy whenever driving long distances on the interstate. But Carl is right, there are times when one is too high to drive and then you tend to drive too slow and get paranoid.

I think its harder to drive stoned compared to being sober, but it is deffinetly not the same as being drunk!

I dont think it affects you too much but there is a point I think where you shouldent drive after smoking weed

I Get that feeling alot, one time i was speeding down the main street in my town (HIstoric Route 66) and there is headlights behind me and im in the slow lane, so i think oh its just some person who also is driving cautiously, but i started getting paranoid because i had just downed 8 beers and took 2 hits of acid. i was actually sending a text message and driving and smoking a cig all at the same time while driving in front of a cop. he followed me almost all the way home (it was a weekend so he was probably after drunk drivers). anyways its a survival mechanism that makes you paranoid, because it can ruin your life if you get caught and theres always a small chance that any pair o headlights could be driven by bacon!

As for driving when under the influence of marry Jane it all depends on the driver and how stoned they are, if your knocked off your ass stoned, then don't be an idiot and drive, but if your just mildly stoned go ahead I guess, but then what do I know I don't drive.

One time, me and my buddy got high driving into central philly traffic to see the salvador dali exhibit...we got a lot of looks because we were staring at shit (funny looking people, artwork, etc.) and we reeeeeeeked of marijuana. Also, an unrelated time, we were in philly for the allman bros concert...both tripping on lsa. he said he wanted to get home real bad about 3/4 through, so we left, but as long as he drove cause i was fucked up... We wound up getting home, but he told me as soon as he got out of the car that he had absolutely no idea how he managed to drive. When i got into the drivers side seat, i noticed that he had put the seat as far foward as it goes, yet he is only an inch or two shorter than me and i drive with it all the way back... I guess he was having trouble focusing. oh well, im still alive.
