What did you think when you first saw weed?

Now a sidclaimer here, I'm quite high so I'll try not to garble anything.

So, what was it like the very first time you saw or used weed? Like when you were still at the age where all you knew were the scary stories they told you in schools and on t.v., and you are in the presence of it beings smoked.

hahehee, the first for me was when I was 13 and my older sisters friends where in the downstairs room and they all started smoking weed (they were like 15 and 16). I was actaully worried that if they're all on drugs they'd freak out and think I'm a monster and attack me or something lol, so I just stayed really nervously quiet. then my dad came downstairs and he's like "what the fuck is going on here! you kids are doing drugs in my basement!.......... give me that!" and he takes the joint and tokes it and keeps passin it around and just laughs. :D I found out later he's done pretty much everything in the 70's and 80's, especially weed and acid. though despite what they tell us, he's still extremely intelligent and well read.

god damnit, and I'm watching cops and this one cop is SUCH an asshole. I mean he's treating any drug users, evern weed smokers, like they're fucking terrorists. fucking american cops piss me off.

I heard all what D.A.R.E had to say and later on I heard what my Law Enforcement class had to say as well. Ultimatly, it was that class that attracted me to weed. I mean, after learning the facts I decided to try it out. My and 2 friends were smokin in a back yard and I remember sitting there waiting to see what it would feel like and all the sudden im in total awe, looking at the things around me. The rocks felt soft and when I was looking at this little shrub, I had this feeling something was supposed to happen... like a climax of sorts, it was really weird. It was great though, I never get highs like that anymore... first time was just incredible. For thoes who havn't smoked yet, remember to brace the moment you first realize your high.

My weed smoking friend brought a picture perfect leaf to school in an M&M minis can. I thought it smelled like cow shit. I've never really been scared or whatever because he was my best friend throughout elementary school and he was a total stoner even back then! Cool guy. Karl. I miss him. He moved before I ever toked.

First time I smoked it took almost an hour to take effect. I was sitting there staring at our campfire pissed because I thought we got screwed. Then, my friend, who was TOTALLY feeling it, needed my help setting up a tent. I got up, and immediatly fell on my face. I kept trying to get up but I just had NO balance at all and kept falling down in the weirdest positions. It was on grass right next to a river, so the ground was all spongy. I ended up helping him on my hands and knees. Took about two hours before I could finally manage standing. Sadly, never happened again. Sweet memories.

True story... When I was about 10-11 years old (late 70s), my small TX town had a seminar of sorts on the dangers of drugs. They showed us what weed, coke, lsd, pills, etc., looked like. Unbelievably, they actually lit some of the weed in a small metal container to let us experience what it smelled like! Although I didn't start smoking til I was 19, I can remember even then thinking how pleasing the smell was...

The first time I saw weed was in my forensic science class in high school. The local cops brought in samples of various drugs to look at under a microscope. They had a pound of weed they let us hold and smell...shocking us all with some ridiculous street value they pulled out of their ass.

First time i saw/smelt smoked it i was with a mate skateboarding by a shop near my house. We were about 10 and it was about 6pm. These 2 guys sat down on the bench, got out a massive spliff, lit up and i smelt that beautiful smell like no other, so i went up to them and asked what it was. He said is was skunk, and at that time i didnt know what skunk was, so i said where do you get it. He said from a cannabis dealer, and it was at this point i decided to ask if he'd let me have a few tokes. His joint was so bloody big he didnt seem to care so he said yeah. It was an awesome experience, and thats why i still remember every single little detail. It was one of the most important things in my life. Ever since then i been smoking as much skunk as i possibly can, given that i dont have alot of money.

First time I saw it was the first time I smoked it, a few months after turning 15. Me and 3 mates (well some girls there too but I can't remember shit from that night!) went to "The Rock Cafe" to see a Nirvana and Rage Against The Machine tribute bands play (I keep thinking it was chili peppers not nirvana, what a night it must have been hehe), well we paid like £8 to get in, we saw Nirvana play (well first Rage were getting a bit of practicing in so we heard what they were like), then in the interval before RATM were set to play, there were a few songs playing.
Well Blink 182 - First Date came on and we had already smoked 10 bowls in there, just sitting on a bench in the packed place just tokin' away. Well we were all singing First Date at full volume and half way through my mates heard a bang and there I was, passed out on the bench.
Throughout the night I had drunk a couple of beers before I set off from home and only had a pint (500ml bottle of Newcastle Brown), then bought another before I passed out. Well we all went to the toilet to be sick (and some for a piss lol), well I was throwing up in the urinal and this skinhead covered in tattoos came in and said "You ok, lads?" and I said "Fuck off!!" Luckily he was a nice guy and I think he knew that we were the kids that had cained off 10 bowls in there lol. Well we left before we saw RATM play, I got outside and saw the guy I told to fuck off outside with his mates, but luckily he didn't see me. So I walked over the road, saw the grass was dry and just collapsed onto it, proceeding to throw up while lying on my side lol.

Well that was more of a story telling you about Rock Cafe rather than my first toke, but there we go :D

Oh also to keep it on topic, the way I got asked to toke was when we were walking to the bus stop to go to Rock Cafe my mate said to another guy "You got any weed? I have my pipe!" and he was like "Yeah I have, Josh you gonna try it?" and I was like "Hell yeah I will!" and he was all shocked and surprised that I was so enthusiastic lol.

I'm so glad I accepted the invitation to toke... really glad :D

First time I saw weed, was durring the time when all I knew was it is "REALLY BAD" lol.. But I smoked it with my girlfriends brother, and then when over to a family party thing.. it was so great, there was a fire in the backyard, i nice swing-set. I was set. =D

the first time i saw weed was no big deal, i think i was taking a break from cutting our back yard, next-door buddy came over, showed me a nickel-bag he just got, looked like something off the spice rack to me...

the first time a buzz kicked in was great! same friend and me split a joint of jamaican before an 8th grade teen club dance, then my friend told me to hold the last hit in and run the 100 yards from the woods to the school before letting it out. when i got to the school, getting my breath, i got my first rush, fantastic:thumbsup: !! teen club seemed better than usual too, and it (the weed) has been amazing ever since:D

i saw weed many times as a child not realizing what it was. i saw my parents smoke right in front of me and i was completely oblivious to wut it was. i was convinced that it was some sort of special tobacco they smoked and that was that. not until i got into the DARE program in school did i really realize wut was goin on. and once i did i started snatching buds from them and smokin with my friends i was a bad lil kid. i do remember one time when i was like 10 or 11 and i was homne alone after school and i looked in the freezer for something to eat and i found a big tupperware filled with danks skunky nugs. but of course i had no idea wut it was when i opened it i was hit by this skunky minty aroma and i thought it smelled pretty good. i thought it was some kinda vegetable we were gonna eat for dinner so i put it back and didnt say anything. lol if i woulda known wut it was then i woulda blazed that shit up in a minute, yo! :rasta: :rasta:

I grinded the bud, took all the mj and put in a tiny plastic wallet. What next? Was my first thought. hmm... well i went to my first concert when i was 9 years old, and that was first time i smelled that smell. when i was little i didnt know what it was, but i liked the scent since the first time i smelled it.. i think i first saw someone smoking a joint at a concert when i was about 12, and i thought i wanted to try it. i first saw weed up close and personal when i was about 14, when a friend of mine at school said "hey, you wanna skip fifth period and get high?" and i said "yes i do." and my only thoughts were that i was in love with mary jane.

When I first saw weed I was 13 and Lord lemme tell you I didnt know I'd turn out like this lol. It was my friend he's a fuckin' huge dealer now. Everyone knows him (thank God I knew him when he wasnt that big). Anyways I dont see how I love it so much now because when I first smelled it I hated the smell. It made me sick. Now I love it lol. i found a tin of my dads weed a while before this. i was 4-5 any ways there was a report of how hand rolled ciggies were not as bad for you and my dad smoked packs of normal ones. so i grabbed his pot tin and asked him if i could roll ciggies for him(thinking it was tobbacco) so he would smoke them instead. i thought that tobbacco smelt funny. few years later at 7-8 my friend and i found the tin again and told me it was weed. didnt think about it for ages then somthing happened and i wanted some. so at 13 i grabbed some from his tin and toked up in my room. just got a buzz but i had never felt better... i want some now!!!
