Calling all Amateur Doctors!

Hey I'm a long time toker and have experienced most physcadelics. I recently was put on a medication called Resperidal and I was wondering if it would interfere with the trip if I took Shrooms while I was taking it. Its an anti-physcotic. Any help would be appreciated. I looked on erowid and didn't find anything and its not the sort of question I can ask my doctor. I just don't want to waste my money and get nil.

i don't think the shrooms would even have an effect on you

you shouldnt be doing shrooms or any hallucinogen if you have to take anti psychotic pills. why are you taking them?

I have a friend on anti psychotic meds and he takes cactus powder and maybe other stuff and he still trips--so maybe you can too

i took thorazine once to get of a bad trip........thats an anti psychotic and it killed the trip stone dead.....does that help

depending on what you're taking it for, you could always skip a dose, i wouldn't recommend doing this unless you know what you're doing (what stopping the specified medication abruptly can do, knowing your problems and how able you are to control them ect. ect...) i've known other people on that medicine.... and the only thing i could reallly say any of them have might of been a very mild case of depression... (not while skipping/missing doses, just in general mental disorders) so i dunno, it'd depend what you're on it for, and how severe it is... my depression is probably 3-4x theirs and i'm not even on medication for it..

man the chemicals they sell are all junk. they make you dumb. I recommend nugs and tripping. Thats all ya need to be happy.
