That's just how the cartoons portray the experience. DMT isn't orally active anyway, from licking a bufo toad you'd at best, I don't know, die? Smoked, it is one of the safest substances in the world.

Yes, I have never thought about orally taking a drug, nor snorting it, nor injecting it. Even if I did try some DMT it would be smoked, crack - smoked, everything I would try would be smoked lol. I think it's the most effective way to control your high because you decide how much smoke goes in your body. But if you take a acid tab or something you probably would eat the whole tab instead of half of it...never mind me I'm too high lol.

Yea, at pet stores they are sold as "cane toads, bufo toads," there are many nick names for the little buggers. In science, this toad is an alvarius of the bufo genus. "Bufo Alvarius" would be the proper name.

One hit of the dried venom should have done something to you, .2 on a scale is enough for me to trip out for several hours. Mabye it was exposed to air? when i had the peruvian torch (which i've tried at least 4 times) .. it too was a light experience. the guy had only been sending out 1/2 oz. samples of the powder. i was cooking it down with lemon juice and drinking it. HORRIBLE TASTING STUFF!!!! it usually took somewhere between 1-2 hours for any effects to be noticable. i would absolutely LOVE to get my hands on at least a whole OZ of the shit and play with that. i just hate cooking the shit down. it takes a few hours, and i'm impatient. :D have you tried the torch before?

None. It's only harmful if eaten, and the stuff in it that causes the hallucination isn't even active when eaten, so it would be pointless to do so anyway. Evaporate it until what's left is dry enough to smoke, that's it. They shouldn't be any more then 10 bucks :thumbsup:

I keep a male and female, which will probably have plenty of children for me to set free, insted of them being harvested and skinned for their hallucinogenic properties (which MANY vendors do!). Besides, no plant contains such a high concentration of 5meo DMT and bufotenin... If anything it's better for the toads and us. They get a comfy clean, spacious aquarium and the best care in the world, and in turn I retreive venom from them 2-3 times a week. Sounds like a better deal then getting sliced in half :thumbsup:

Dude, you can't put this kindof experience into words well enough to portray the events accurately to someone who hasn't experienced the same thing.... but... I felt an immense pressure on my entire body, like I was being pressed down on by some invisible force. I was sweaty and my left eye was twitching a little involuntarily but I got past it. no foreign objects or people were coming into play, rather, my perspective was shifted 360 degrees. and I don't mean my visual perspective, I mean, my mental perspective... like... For example, during my first trip... all of my problems became very clear to me, thoughts flowing fast as lighting... suddenly I realized that there are many knots to be tied in my life, and every second I was thinking and envisioning myself solving these, "inner problems" not neccesarily seeing the, but feeling it. like I said very hard to explain. I must say, my lifes really turned around since my first 5meo dmt experience. the experience makes you realize so many things... about yourself... your relation ship with your friends, your family, and mother earth

No, sorry that was a misleading thread title... you do not lick the toad, infact it's venom is highly poisonous when taken orally. read the teks for stressing and gathering venom to smoke above ^ also they are most commonly referred to as cane toads but are also called bufo toads and the scientific name is bufo alvarius. they are abundant in colorado, and can also be found in pet shops
