When loading a bowl ?

Do you brake up your nugget and throw it in the bowl or do you just leave the nug whole and pack it in the bowl.PS what is the disadvantage of breaking up your bud ?

you break it up some.... like litle chunks a bit bigger then bb's, but you want them to be compact little balls... if you mean by smoking broke up weed as in broke up enough to roll with, well it's going to burn alot faster.... usually, these chunks seem to kind of go back up into one big chunk then i just stir it with like a yarn needle and i can keep smoking...my bowls last forever like that

well in a bowl there really is no disadvantage to breaking it up. i usually break it up pretty good, then load the bowl like that.

When I break the weed up to dust, it burns a lot better, never have to light it more then once and I always get the biggest hits off it. Only problem is you really need to keep hittin it cus its still lettin smoke out. When I see that its like seeing my money just float away... thats part of the reason I can't stand joints...

lol, but back in the day me and my friend used to just place a whole bud in the bowl, without even de-seeding or de-steming it... lol.

i use a grinder to break it up but thats cus i like to collect the kif

I hardly break up my weed unless it's for a blunt or joint. It'll burn slower not broken up. but you get better hits if it's broken up ina bowl,

i like to break down a big bud into a packed bowl. i dont like smoking the actual nugs, they dont burn fast enough IMO and seem like a waste. dont ask, i dont know, it just seems like you're wasting your bud if you dont break it down.

i love the feel of bud when i break it. i normally do it in a decent size chunk to cover the hole in the smoking device(whether it be bowl or bong), then the shake and smaller stuff for the top. you can pack a fat ass bowl with shake. for blunts and j's, i like breaking it up until its almost a powder, helps me spread it out evenly so it doesnt run.

I always try to break a nugget off in one big chunk and shove that into the end of my pinchie. No breaking it up into small pieces. I seem to get more bang for my buck with big nuggets.
Oh, and pinchie's hit hard.

if i only have a little weed ill leave it in buds, but if you want MAD hits grind it, you only get like 5 tokes for a full bowl but they are BIG hits, and just sprinkle a bit of hash over that and you got a nice bowl my freiend

on my hooka i break it in half. drop a nug on one side and put the other on the other side. so i can burn one nug and still have one left.

there's no disadvantange to breaking up weed. I break it up pretty small, almost to a powder you would want for your joints. basically i do this because i have this crazy idea that when i do this it allows every bit of grass to fully burn because it's so small, also this powder smokes so much! just a little powder packed onto the screen of my bowl with fill my water pipes chamber and cost me a damn lung. and last because it seems to save more, rather than packing a nug

I personally like to just use some scissors and just cut away on parts of the bud, I think it works better than a grinder on actually grinding it up.

It common science. The finer it's broken up, the more surface area, therefore more burns and more thc in yo lungs. Booya!

I just break it up a couple times with mah hands then stick it in there and smoke. Theres no real right or wrong way I guess - either way will get you high and thats good enough.

if you enjoy smoking and want to smoke longer, smoke nugs. just because more burns at once when you break it up doesn't mean you get higher. in the end you've still smoked the same amount of weed and the high will be the same.

I've always found breaking it up to be extremely beneficial.

I think the problem with most people is that they torch half the bowl. Only burn the exact amount you are smoking so that none gets wasted. So I think the people who say that breaking it up makes it burn quicker, are simply burning it all at once. If you burn it right and break it up it can last longer.

I've always took a small sized nug and flattened it like a pancake to place it over the hole, and covered it with broken up smaller nugs. If you burn it correctly (only a little bit at a time) it will work the best.

it burns easier if its ground up/broken up. sometimes i just throw a nug in if i'm on the go or someplace where i don't have anywhere to break it up, but it doesn't burn as evenly and seems like there's more wasted weed because of the parts that don't burn well. i always just grind a bud and leave it in my grinder and pack into bowls as needed.
