For those of you with one, is it easy to get a cannabis card?

i have a card that is provided by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. 25$ for a 2 year card. It will get you in any club within a hundred miles, or more. With your card you can buy clones, edibles, oils, hash, and buds , plus countless others inventions the cannabis users thinks of.
Go to your MD. If your MD is not interested in your decisions about your health many of the clubs have a MD they will send you to.

good luck,

First try your own doctor. When he refuses, ask for a copy of your medical records (you are sick, aren't you?). Check out canorml's stie and find their list of cannabis friendly doctors. Scrape together $200 (may be less) and make your appointment. Take your medical records with you. In California, the medical cards are not mandatory and until the feds get on the bandwagon, I won't get one. Also, my county is one that does not give them out yet. I do, however, carry a photocopy of my doctor's recommendation with me at all times. There is only one club in my area and it is, by all accounts, a rip off deal. I just have a nice little closet with a secret garden in it. (Big grin!).

damn, nevada charges 150/year (yearly renewals are needed) plus the dmv charges another 15 bucks or so for the actual license, which is almost an exact copy of our driver's lincenses! then there's another 100 bucks for the doctor's signature...and it's not tax deductable either. i tried itemizing it a few years ago and figures i'd be audited at that time where it was found and disallowed. not that it mattered as i had plenty of other deductibles...but getting back to my point; nevada med patients need to scrape up nearly $300 every year to stay legal!

I just got my card from Montana...$100 for a year. Mailed in the forms, signed by doc and myself and explaining my condition. It took about a week and a half.
