WELL, I AM JUST 2 WEEKS FROM HARVEST ON MY FIRST CLOSET GROW.[B
At least I hope so..Could be maybe 3-4..I see crystals on the hairs on one of my plants and they are starting on my big bud of my main plant.. not sure how long this will take for the crystals to get to maturity before i snip.
Any ways for my FIRST EVER GROW, I germed some seeds from a Bag i thought was of good highnessicity. planted them in some dirt with perlite and vermiculite and had a crappy 40wt growlite from walmart i picked up for 10 bucks.
any ways, i grew them under that lite for like 3 weeks and they streached and got really long..i was reading alot about hydroponic growth during that time and figured why not, it cant be that hard..
well i was right and wrong.. putting everything together was easy. and then caring for the plants i screwed up all together...
Firstly i made took a sterilite 4-5 gallon tub and cut holes in the the lid for some ceramic pots that i put in there, they had a hole in the bottom for at least alittle water seapage . i got the air pump and air stone and taped them in , and YADA YADA YADA, Made a perfectly good hydro system spending less then 30 bucks.
except i didnt have Hydroton, and i still didnt have a good light system and the pots were hardly adequate.
So, I looked up the closest Hydro store and took a road trip on my day off and drove 150 miles to the nearest one(round trip) hehe, and got spend happy ..I bought an "EMILY'S GARDEN and a 150 Wt florescent light with a light shield thingy..:smokin: .I am so baked i cant remember the real name of it. :rasta: and then i bout more hydroton and and net pots for the set up i had and nutes and PH test kits and all that stuff,,,
spent about 240 i think,,. What a waste of money i paid for Emily's garden.
Tghe set I made was just as good and only cost about 1\5th the amount i paid for it. but since I had it, i was gunna use it, :o
So i retransplanted the elongated plants that were around there 3rd node but really long and stringy, into the Hydroton medium and screwed that up when i went from the dirt.!! hit them with light right away and the roots didnt take for so long it made me sick , so now im in like my 6th week of growth since germing and they look pathetic...
[B]BUT THAT IS NOW 6 WEEKS OF READING POSTS AND SEEING PICTURES AND LEARNING EVERYTHING I COULD
Read about nutrients and overnight i am a closet botonist...I nursed my babies to health and read to them and fed them and enjoyed every day they improved and took root..(although looking at them now I dont think i recognized the root rot that has been plageuing them there entire life) and they grew and enjoyed the new life i gave them..
They Flourished and got better and stronger and thicker and Taller..HAPPY HAPPY:) :)
By the way there are 4 plants that survived the transplant. just bag seed but it made me happy and i didnt wanna purchase seeds on line. just yet(still havent decided to do it for new my 2ND grow or not, IM SCARED:( !!
they grew and grew .. SO now we are in like week 15.. Yeah Yeah they were not happy for a long time..
But they are Full and thick and From what I thought were ready for Flower...
So i went to 12\12 from 18\6 from 24 and forced flower.. well about 3 weeks in i got some really good flowering nutes///BEASTIE BLOOMS 0-50-30 and added some of that and finally got some Superthrive around week 5 and started them on 3 drops every 4-5 days with freshly nutted? Nuted? Nuuted? water..
Well we are now in week 6 of flower and ther are around30-40 bud sites and hairs everywhere and crystals are forming on leaves and hairs, nice and clear crystals.. from what i read i wanna wait till they get amberishly cloudy before they get the ā??Guillotinā? :( :( So it should be about 3 more weeks or so..
Any ways, I post tomorrow about my Plans for my BOX i am gunna grow and the lites i am thinking about buying off Ebay and Fans and all that good stuff...

and i have no camera to take pictures yet, but i hear the if i am going to buy a camera i should get a KODAK digital YADA YADA YADA with all the toys for around 200 bucks.. any suggestions on that as well...
