right now i have 2 2 set 4ft florescent lights do u think these r good lights to use
and im buying some cfl's tommorrro what else kind of lights u think i should get? for a nice grow box?

I'm not sure I follow you... "2 2 set"?

It's two sets, of flourescent lights, that have 2 bulbs, each measuring 4feet... right? wrong?

Anyways... what kinds of lights?

Veg... MH - Metal Halide (prefferably), or CFLs (highest WATTs possible)
Flowering... HPS - High Pressure Sodium (preff.)

You can do everything with flourescents/CFLs... but...

Get the best that your budget $$$ will allow...

Man, I'm not 100% sure if Metal Halides are sold in Home Depot...

Maybe yes... yes... I think so.... I think for security lights... or outdoor lights...

As for cost... no idea... probably upwards of $50... and less than $150... sorry for the crappy cost estimate... but that's my best guess.

Again, buy the best possible lights your $ will allow.

Something good about Home Depot... if you find better lights in the near future, you could return the ones you buy tomorrow...

how many plants u got goin?

the way i'm gonna set my grow up is surround the plant with cfl bulbs.. the bulbs are long, and so i'ma keep'm 3" away :)

right now i got 5 plants goin 1 Chronic 1 indica 3 normal satavia i might get rid of those ones to replace with blue hydro and some other exotic shit my friend is givin me the seeds

Sorry for the late reply, hadn't read it...

I'm adding the HPS... I'll be running both bulbs during flowering... the 400MH and the 600W HPS.

Let's see how that turns out... :)
