I want to be able to re assure my self that im not going to blow my parents house up with a massive fire then a gas explosion. So can I get a sensor which will trip out the power to the light if the temp gets really high (like if the fan fails)
cheers

OUR CUSTOM MADE (patented) Bimetal thermal regulator switches are included with every sunlight shed. If the air temperature in your grow room gets above 105F, then this switch will turn off ONLY the lights. Heat transfer occurs directly through the metallic base via convection, radiation and conduction in gaseous and solid media. You can rest assured your plants will never burn, which greeatly reduces the risk of fire. Provides peace-of-mind your home is safe.

Another option if you don't wanna spend that much money, or if you want to set it at a lower temperature....

Buy an inexpensive thermostat from Home Depot or Lowes (usually a cheap one is around $20) and wire it to a relay to swith the light on and off (relays are around $5-10 at radio shack). If you need any help, lemme know.
