my question is i got some widows growing in hydroton sitting in a cement mixer tub with airstones and nutrient mix.i no that the light is causing algae cuz i dont cover the water just change it every week.will the algae hurt the plants its not that bad but im just curious.

my widows that are like 20 days veg are way bigger than my c99 in soil thats been veg since jan 1.soil is slow indoors.

Do you have the widows and the c99 under the same lights? A little bit of algae doesn't hurt. Are your roots nice and white? Hydro is known for faster growth with everything else being equal.

was up gen.
im new to hydro and i am starting from the bottom.
i have no ph tester no ppm tester no thermometer no way to check humidity
all i got is some air pumps some 5 gallon buckets and a 1000 hps
in the near future im gonna get all i need but i want to try growing with the minimum.so far things are good.30 days flower for 1 plant and like 20 in veg.
my roots look like green strings.is this bad.also there are lil white bugs in the water.maybe fungus gnats thats why i change the water a lot
