Well, I've spent many many hours reading this forum, and have come to the conclusion that this place is my favorite :) Everyone here seems way cooler than people I've seen at other forums. Garden Knowm, Mand, Powder Puff, etc, you guys are simply awesome! I really am glad to be a member of this fine community

Anyways, I've got some pics of my grow. It is my first time. I'm using four 42watt and two 25watt CFL's. My temps are always around 82F and RH is usually 60 - 70%. I always use distilled water at room temp. I will be starting nutes this week, starting with a 10-2-1 Mexican Bat Guano with Superthrive mix. This is really just a hobby for me. I love gardening and have many other types of plants in my home.

Anyways, here's some pics.. My camera is terrible and does not focus well at all  So, please excuse the bad pics. It's the best I can do for now til I get a new camera. The plant on the left is older than the plant on the right, as I'm sure you can tell. The left one is around 3 weeks old, and the right is about 2 weeks.

Any imput, suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Punky :) ............... Ah my name mentioned "fame at last" ;) :)

It is a nice place on the growing sections, all friendly people and willing to offer hints and advice :)

I must warn though, once you start doing a grow journal it becomes more than a hobby ;)

love mand xxx:)

Hey thanks! I'm using just a professional soil from the local hydro store :)

The first thing I would do is get them into a cabinet and contain that light, if not you're going to be very disappointed come harvest time.

Don't have a cabinet, they are in a closet :) Like I said before, it's more of a hobby for me than anything

I'm having fun!

I realize this but your plants are hardly getting any light because they are just sitting in the open. I doubt you'll have anything worth harvesting sitting a few cfls over plants in the open.

Well, they seem to be doing fine for now.. They are in about a 4' by 4' area closet... If they weren't getting hardly any light, I'd think I'd see alot more stretching. The lights are less than an inch away. I also have flat white poster board that sits around them that I had to move to take the pictures. It's all I have for now anyways... I've seen a ton of grow journals that had bigger space than me, and did just fine using the same lighting. I'm not looking for big huge harvest's here. It's just a fun hobby for me :) Thanks for your imput thought :smokin:

Btw, I have more than a few cfl's.. There's 6 total.

yea nice job its good to "have fun with ur 1st grow" but after this one you better get busy LOL nah man good luck..... Just keep those lights 2 inches away from the plants and try to get a little fan in their.. Just remember those plants grow fast at times so be careful not to burn them

Thanks man :) I've had a 12" desk fan on them since they were babies. And yes, they do grow very fast! I can check on them every hour and notice them getting bigger
