Life sentence for throwing slipper Monday February 13, 07:54 AM
An Indian judge has sentenced a robber to a life sentence in jail for hurling a slipper at him.
Judge Gongale was quick to duck when Rajkumar Sharma threw his slipper at him.
The 19-year-old appeared before the judge in Mumbai on a charge of robbing an auto rickshaw driver of £5.
Senior lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani said: "The punishment is excessive but the accused's conduct is unpardonable."

maybe he had bunyans and corns?
maybe he had bunyans and corns?
Yeah, that's probably the reason. Lots of people have ended up in jail for bad accuracy. Trying to shoot someone and hitting a child instead. That shit's not cool.

Yeah, that's probably the reason. Or he had some funky feet. I bet lots of people have ended up in jail for bad accuracy. Trying to shoot someone and hitting a child instead. That shit's not cool.

Ya, no shit! :p
There should be judges to judge the judge. How can anyone not see that this sentence is on another planet?

I think if I owned my own airforce, I'd have to fly a bunch of bombers over India and drop thousands upon thousands of slippers on them now.

India isn't exactly known for it's human rights. Under the Bollywood glitz there is still plenty of backwards thinking going on.
