Hey I recently started a project only 2 day's past germination atm, my question is: My grow room is in a "basement" gets a bit cold expecially around this time, and with my fan running im thinking I could be freezin them?? I noticed in some random pictures i've seen people have temp gauges or w/e u call em... how do I run across one of these and what temp should I focus on keeping the "grow" area??
Thank You, The Brains :rasta:

Thank You, The Brains :rasta:i have a battle with temps myself but they the perfect range is said to be 70-75 I believe mines itself 76-82, 76 with lights off u may go with a nice heater fan that has a thermostat built in it ,the one that stays on and turn off by itself when it reaches the set temperture I hope that can help, good luck

lol im to cheep to buy anything to record the tempature , this is sorta a "find it, use it" project ,, i figure from upstairs to downstairs thier is a 5 degree dif , so ill judge from that I suppose,
the plant(s) itself hasnt popped from soil only been about a day, do I keep lights on 24 hours untill the plant is 10inches or so? then start a 12/12 cycle.. I read less dark the more potent so do I keep lights on as long as possible ?
im using x2 24inch flouro cool white-tubes with a good reflector "hanging approx 2-3inches directly above soil" <-- will this work from start to finish?
correct me if I am wrong please,

A thermometer will do. You can get one at Walmart for $1.50.

at LEAST 10 inches. The more you veg, the more bud you'll get.

2-3 inches above the tops of the plants. Rig the lights so its easy to raise them as the plants grow.

BRAINS: I would recommend that you put them @ a 18/6 or maybe 20/4 since your using low power fluoros for at least the first 3 weeks... if u can, at the bare minimum you should get some 150w CFL's, but if u can afford it get a 400w HPS system for flower... i have seen incredible results from them...
Hope i could be of service...:D
