Blair promises Iraq 'abuse' probe
Tony Blair has said claims of abuse by soldiers "will be investigated" after images that appeared to show UK troops beating Iraqi youths were published.
The News of the World has published pictures from a video the newspaper says was shot in southern Iraq in 2004.

Mr Blair said the overwhelming majority of UK troops in Iraq behave properly and do a "great job for our country and for the wider world".

The Ministry of Defence has launched an investigation into the video images.

A military spokesman in Iraq condemned "all acts of abuse and brutality" by British troops, saying the allegations related to a "tiny number" of soldiers.

On the tape, described as a "secret home video", an unidentified cameraman is heard laughing and urging his colleagues on. It was apparently filmed for fun by a corporal

Yeah I'd seen this on the news tonight and let me tell you blair has some questions to answer there is no aledge about this which is what Blair said in an interview i'm sorry it's all there infront of you.The youths were running away and the soilders were running after them got 4 of the youths and drag them back behind a wall and beat the crap out of them.It's an outrage and the thing that comes to my mind is they couldn't pick on someone there own age and size hey except some poor defenceless youths.And the guy that was filming the abuse sounded like he was having an orgasm so excited to see what was going to happen.It's disgusting and I hope these inhumane people get punished for this disgusting outrages behavior.:mad:

I'm not even very supportive of the Iraqi operation, but those guys deserved getting roughed up. The report even admitted that they were among a group that was throwing rocks and explosives at the soldiers. If they had been allowed to get away with those activities, then it would only get worse.

Oh if only there was no country or religion, then people could recognize maybe that those people who commit such crimes are just like anyone of you. Oh yeah, THEY assault "OUR" Soldiers (LOL, our BELOVED soldiers of heaven) but our soldiers shouldn't be in THEIR country.
