close calls

has anybody had any close calls with death,,, ive had a number of them,,, ther was one time where i fell out of the back of a pickup truck and had a concussion ,, another time i had a gun pulled on me,,,, and the worst time was when i was aboutr 11,, i was in tennesse where i used to live and a river called the buffalo river ran past my house in a place called lobelville,,i was out on a 75 foot cliff overtop of the river and under this cliff there was a huge rock then ran about 2 feet under the water, about 50 feet wide and 75 feet long,,it was directly under the cliff,, i was out on the cliff one day shooting bottle rockets off the clif into the water cuz they made a cool sound and i stood up to leave and i slipped off the cliff and grabbed a tree over hanging the water ,, i tried to get back up but the tree snapped and i fell 75 feet into the water,, i remember knowing i was gonna die but i wasnt worried or scared for some reason,, as i was falling i could feel my hands trying to cling onto something to stop falling but it felt like forever before i hit the water,,i saw all these pictures of everything i did in life , it was weird,, everything i had done was flashing past my eyes but they were closed,, before i hit the water i saw a light the got brighter and brighter and suddenly i felt the left side of my body hit the water really really hard,, i thought i was dead,, it turned out that i was about 2 feet away from landing on the rock and killing myself,, i dient believe it,, i didnt tell my parents,, it was the winter tiime and they kow i couldnt have gone swimming so i told them i was at the edge of the water and slipped in , i havent told them what happened yet

Yes, I have, but I've posted it a million times and I'm tired of talking about it. I was almost beat to death when I first moved to Canada.

I was locked in the School Grounds when I was 15 after Football Training and had to climb over the Spiked Fence to get home.

It was raining and I slipped while climbing over and the Spike entered my Neck, missing my Jugular Vein by Millimeters, broke through the bottom of my mouth and I was left hanging on the fence.

I had to pull myself off the fence, which Doctors later told me was the worst thing I coul have done. I guess Im really lucky to still be here but I was young and daft and didnt realise they seriousness at the time!

Needless to say, I sued the School for a Few Grand for locking the school gates before time!

one time i was in our schools catwalk (light hangers above the stage) and i was sitting in a chair, handling a light...i twitched, and the chair leg fell through the cracks between the floor boards, but only one did, so my chair tilted sideways. i straight up fell off the catwalk but managed to grab the bar on the outer lip. i was hanging there for a good twenty seconds regaining my composure, the only people around were those on teh catwalk. i secured myself to the poll so i couldnt fall (with an aviation cable...very strong). and slowly pulled myself up.

I saw a rattlesnake tail go under a rock I was on... once... about 5 years ago.

I mean.

IT WAS FUCKING COMING RIGHT THE FUCK AT ME! SO I FUCKING BOOTED IT RIGHT OVER THE FUCKING... OCEAN!


Also, when I was a wee one, a friend and myself were playing on the ocean cliffs, and we jumped over this inside corner of a cliff, with a tree on the actual corner. We both made it fine, but thinking back we could've easily clipped the tree and fallen to our deaths.

When I was just starting to walk I put the nozzle of a vacuum cleaner in my mouth and ran about the garden. I fell over and the nozzle went through the roof of my mouth a couple of mm further I would have died. I have been crushed in the playground nearly spliting my skull. (done that about 3 times). Smashed my head against a wall while running (fell over while running very fast and my head landed straight on the wall. Fell off a quad doing about 50mph. Got trampled by some cows. Was in a car crash and the car flipped over 5 times. Fell off my roof onto a fence (that fucking hurt) For a dare while drunk a few friends jumped in a massive patch of nettles. My mate was running full pelt at me and slipped kneeing me right in the head (was out cold for about 5 minutes) he nearly broke his knee it was that hard (thanks for that chris)

Not really personally...ive nearly lost limbs a couple of times.....and ive thought i was dying on shrooms a couple of times.....but thats pretty much it :)

the first night i had my lisence i took my moms mini-van to this crazy road way out in the country where i live. its got many elevation changes and it feels like a rollercoaster if yourr going fast enough. well these roads are no wider than 2 cars right next to eachother... i was going 85 down this patch of 2 slopes. at the bottom was a slight incline again with no visiblity beyond that... my mini van was no match for the turn(keep in mind the posted speed limit was 25). i had 2 friends in the car, both had minor scratches. i was completely fine... after i woke up 15 feet away from my car on the concrete with glass shards all in my left arm. apparently we hit a tree on left, i flew out the window, then the car swung back to the right side of the road, hit another tree, then proceeded to roll another 2 times before stopping. i looked at the drivers side and my seat had been calapsed on... thank god i wasnt wearing my seatbelt
