Please remember your seatbelt. I hate being forced to use it too but in the long run, they do help. Glad you are ok.

Wear the seatbelts....about a 98% chance that if you had not been wearing one Satan666 you'd be dead now. Or worse. In this case statistics bear it out...seatbelts have saved far more lives than they have ever taken

right on guys, seatbelts are worth it,u think itll never happen to you but it does my friends it does...
at high-speeds--seatbelts are equally as hazardous as flying through a windshield, but they do save lives. congratulations on dodging death's evil design. now, sit back, toke some weed and forget about it. the trauma yearns for you, don't let it take hold. you gotta fight the power!

I have been in a total of 6 car accidents, all before i turned 25. 3 were my fault and 3 were not. Really shakes you up though. My wife was broadsided about 6 years ago(no one hurt thankfully) and hit a car that pulled out in front of her about 1 year ago. Again, no one hurt. It was a young girl who had her license less than 24 hours. And most recently, my son was rear ended by a panel truck. Replacing all of these cars is breaking me.

well, by my own stupid choice i got in a car that was stolen by a friend of mine (he was driving) trooper flashed it's lights (not even at us -.- that was the most fucked up thing) he took off (me in the back seat with no seat belt) most of the chase was 120mph in a nissan 240sx, jumped a couple of railroad tracks (nearly hit an off-duty that was nosey enough to come looking) by a few inches.. well the dude ended up trying to a 90-degree turn from a back road onto a feeder at 120+ mph (both roads were 2-lanes) needless to say, he lost control, we hit a ditch almost paralell which sent the car into a 2-1/2 flip, car landed upside down (me no seat belt) front wheels both warped inwards car smoking, all of us shoulda been dead, absolutely none of us really injured, i bumped by knees together by accident, my brother bumped his head that was about it... yea i should be dead too... and for some reason i always say this:
"flipping a car is fun as fuck!" which it was... i mean, it was a thrill, but i wouldn't go doing it on purpose..

I don't want to sound mean, but...
At high speeds, seat belts are even more important.
No, they're not "equally as hazardous" as flying through the windshield, because if you're wearing a seatbelt, you won't be flying "through" the windshield.
WTF? Look, I don't want to make a mess here... but incorrect information is really deadly.
ALWAYS wear your seatbelt. Doesn't matter if you're going to the 7Eleven... wear your seatbelt!

At worst you'll get some chest injuries from the seatbelt. You'll get head injuries from flying through the windshield. Would you rather have some broken ribs or breast plate or would you rather fracture your skull and if you're "lucky" enough to survive be a drooling vegetable for the rest of your life?
Buckle up!

EVeryday some prick in a car nearly knocks me off my bike, 90% of the time its some stupid Bitch in a 4x4, EVERY day There are near misses, and only been my fault once.
Car drivers should be forced to learn to ride a bike, that'd open their eyes a bit, All the best drivers I know are ones who have ridden or been a passenger on a motorbike.
I F'ing hate 4x4's

I almost died on a scooter.. I was driving around 50 mph and a car comes driving straight at me.. I crashed, scooter was a wreck, car was smashed up a bit, and I didn't even get a bruise.. I would have died if I weren't wearing a helmet though..

I'm not the first to say it, but wear a seatbelt! It's good your not dead. I always tell people in my car to put on their seatbelts when I'm driving. It might seem lame at the time, but it's better than the alternative and I dont think I could deal with killing someone in my car that wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
Edit: killing someone in an accident, not murder lol:thumbsup:

No, you're not gonna scare anyone from driving recklessly, your story was like a movie. And besides, 70 is barely going over the speed limit in Canada.
