This is what I was waiting for. Personally I think it's good news across the board. Time to spread and multiply!

Who knows. This was just posted this morning. Heh:

RC has been released

I've heard from our contact that RC has been released
I should have a statement for you soon but I can confirm for now that the servers
were turned off by RC so theres no IP log's
recent report's on Cannabis Culture that RC had fled are totally wrong

for now thats all I have

OPWho knows. I still smell something fishy. It doesn't make sense that OG would happen to go down at the same time he was arrested yet there was no connection between the two.

More from ICMag:

I have just talked on the phone with RC (http://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=333353&postcount=63). I know RC, so lets not have any 'was it really him' type responses.

RC shut down the services on the servers - at this point in time the servers have NOT been seized. It appears that OG and CW info is safe and intact - woo hoo!

RC was arrested, and charged concerning the import/export of cannabis seeds - no other charges at this time.

RC has been home for a bit, but is prohibited from using the internet.

RC approved me posting this.

Finally, RC will be issuing a statement through a third party as soon as he has the chance, letting the community know what the situation is.

Could everyone now stop all the hand-wringing, and pull together.

Our thoughts are with you RC - we all wish you the best of luck, and want you to know the community will be here for you.

..Just got off the dog and bone (phone) with RC (http://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=333408&postcount=10).....He sounds O.K.....and happy to be free after being locked up for well over a week.....He asked me to convey his best wishes to you all......and I suggested that I start a fund for his legal defence......He said that he first had to hear from his lawyer if it was cool to be a benificiary of such a fund......

You're welcome. I hope some people are resting a little easier today. More:
The DEA is not involved (http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=21351), only the RCMP. The charges relate to RC's seed business alone and the servers regarding CW/OG are thus far not siezed.

it has been further confirmed by two other people that know RC and are OG members that
they have spoken to him, I'm waiting for info to post that will hopefully clear up this matter

but for now I think we need to kill the speculation as it helps no one

OP

please folks theres enough speculation going on (http://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=337752&postcount=5), leave that to mark & co
There is no sell out, their was no data base of customers, theres been no interrogation
I'll have news in very soon but its late here and I'll not get the info till tomorrow
so hang in threre, RC has sold no one out and ther is no evidence of any investigation

this info was passed to me after I sent the wikipedia link to someone close to the situation
I was told I could post this info to put minds at rest

OPNo investigation? WHAT THE FUCK? You should really go to ICMag and CC and read some of the posts there. The facts about Canadian law and the absense of any cannabis related arrests raises serious questions about this situation. As subcool recently posted, "If they aren't talking to you they are fucking you" and having been a week without official response my hope has faded. This is not a community I would EVER place any trust in again.

These reports continue to get more disturbing although it continues to be purely spectulation.

more from icmag.com

Okay here is the only new news I have. (http://www.cannabisculture.com/forums/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1210812&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&vc=1)

The four folks who have been arrested thus far were all Canadian.

All 4 were arrested for direct purchases from (in two instances) and or sales (at least one instance) at CBay. One person was a breeder - who is well known among many at CW/OG and elsewhere. This person was busted with/at the same time as a medical grower friend who was close by. One person was a closet breeder and grower. The others I have no information on at this time.

These arrests occurred in several Provinces across Canada -- and all were, according to my source, directly related to CBay and HS purchases and dealings.

Good Luck, Optimus Prime

I think he was raided (http://www.cannabisculture.com/forums/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1210822&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&vc=1), I just don't think he's been charged. A raid is an investigation, lots of people are at risk.

But the police don't have to charge him with anything. He could still flee the country (which I believe he has), and the police have all this devastating stuff on everyone who did business with Richard Baghdadlian.

I could be true, or it could be the DEA/RCMP wanting everyone to become relaxed so they can do a big round-up...if I were growing, I'd prefer to be careful...shut down and shut up...being safe rather than being sorry...
