CO2

So i am an bioponic novice grower on his first indor grow currently. I have slowly started from a floro light to an entire set up including fan humidifier HID ligts (mh and hps) a climate control system and now the newest addition is this CO2 organic creater that i snagged off a site.

The logistics come down to this,
-2 liter bottle
.....-1/2 teaspoon yeast
.....-1 cup sugar
.....-Water

This setup had an exstensive system for "dro" and aquariums but i just skipped that and left the cap open.

My questions are as this,

1) Is this enough CO2 or should I add another bottle

2) When does it stop producing CO2

3) Is there anything more effective? (i.e. variations on recipe, added components)

Your helping a bit but you won't make much difference at all with that. co2 tanks or generater is what you need. and the gauges to go with it. normal room air is 300 PPM's . you need them to be up around 1500 PPM's. your maybe bringing it up a 100 or 2, not much dif. If you use it in a living area be carefull it can kill. it floods the room and leaves no o2.

if you put a tube from the bottle & put it in the leaves (with more than one bottle) then it'll help a little bit. oh yeah i'd prob use a bit more yeast, say a tblsp instead of a tsp

Has anyone out there ever harm their plants from excess CO2 enrichment. I am thinking of using the above method on a larger scale, just don't want to overdo it.
