NeanderNews has traced the origins of one of the bogus Muhammed cartoons disseminated by radical Danish imams in December:

The top photo was reportedly included in the Danish Imams' propaganda and attributed falsely to the Jyllands-Posten. The bottom photo is from--well,read it for yourself

Another blogger has more on the bogus cartoons circulated by the muslims themselves to incite violence.

The internet dosen't give the media any place to hide anymore. You can't just say something and not expect it to be fully checked and then debunked if it is false. The New York Times and Newsweek and Dan Rather are all living proof of the shift that has taken place in the last few years.
