cofee shops

I've never been to Amersterdam, (or anywhere outside the U.S.A either). I wish to some day, but thats besides the point. I know that the places that weed is availible in are called cofee shops. Do they sell coffee and what not like an american coffee shop, and also, does anyone actually drink coffee in them?

ok a coffe shop is where u get weed, if u want to get coffe u need to go to a CAFE over there. i'm not sure if they sell coffee in their coffee shops

they sell all drinks and some food,some of them do a full menu, why would they be called coffeshops if they didnt sell no drinks?

that is the point: the irony deals with someone establishing these names for things that don't make sense for them

According to new laws implemented the menus of weed are now supposed to lay face down and they aren't suppose to advertise that they are selling. They will have a completely different window for weed and another window for drinks etc..
