Yes having two differnt lights will have an impact on plants growth. A lot of growers will use two MH bulbs and one HPS bulb for veg and two HPS and one MH for flowering. They would need to be on movers so that some plants aren't just getting one spectrum.

Air conditioning is great for a grow room. It dehumidifies and removes heat. Of course, as with anything, you can get carried away. If you somehow managed to get a HUGE air conditioner into a closet and had ice crystals forming on your leaves then that wouldn't be good. If you're having a prob with heat or humidity tho you can certainly use one to get those things back in check.

Hey THA

If yout AC/or STRONG FAN is blowing directly onto your plants you you will see browning in that area.. this is commonly reffered to as Co2 burn..

I am not sure what exactly causes this.. but I have seen it many a times...
When fans or air is being blown heavly directly onto a plant ...

Usually the benifits of having the air out weigh the damage it causes
