I don't know if the option is possible on this thread system, but I think we should have the ability to delete our own posts/threads or at least be able to mark them for deletion. Even if it's only within a certain amount of time of creating the posts. I know that at least one time or another, a lot of us have wished that the option was there.

Just a suggestion...

Yes, I've had the same problem and somewhere it says to contact the administartor to delete a thread. But by the time it's all said and done, that could take days. There should be a another way, since sometimes you don't realize you've messed up until after the 5 minutes is up and leaving it there until it's deleted by someone else is a waste of time.

Taken straight from the FAQ: "To edit or delete your posts, click the edit button by the post you want to edit"

So I guess we could have the ability to delete our messages, but it seems the mods here are power-hungry. They discourage free thought/action :D

That's what I get from the FAQ, but when I go to 'edit', I don't see anything that has to do with deleting. Am I blind, or something?

I'm going to try it again after posting this message...

(I'm in edit mode now. I don't see anything about deleting.... What the hell?)

I agree with having the ability to be able to delete your own post or have an option to mark for deletion.

Once back in edit delete what you have written and leave a note that you made a mistake.

peace ;)

Well... that sounds like the best way to go about it. Thanks, HvyFuel.

that's probably the easiest option. There don't seem to be enough mods at the moment, especially now that Z got hacked and left.. so it would probably take time for one to delete a post unless you happen to catch a mod in chat..

as for leaving a message, that's probably the best thing to do, except people will probably post on that thread complaining that you're spamming lol

peace

Edit: It would also make the place run alot smoother if the mods had the option to move certain threads to different forums.. that way, there wouldnt be any confusion. People could still keep track of it, because they could see it in their User CP under Subscribed Threads.. That way, people post the right things in the right places, and maybe will stop asking the same questions so many times :)
