the second pic looks burnt but i'm not sure about the 1st. someone with a little more diagnostic experience could help perhaps? it definetely looks like a defeciency or lock-up of some kind. what's the soil ph, nutes, watering frequency, temps, etc. the more details you give the better.

Well i am not sure about ph as i have not tested the whole grow. I know this isn't the best idea but it has been healthy for many months so far. I intend on getting a ph testing kit for my next grow. The nutes are canna terra and the soil is mirical grow. The temps vairy from 15 deg C and 30 deg C. I water when they are dry down to about an inch. The only main differance i am doing @ the moment is starting to weaken the nutes as it is comming the the end of it life.

What nute % are you using?
Are you dropping water on the leaves?

Legalizdahurb

its about half strength now and no i dont leaf feed just water the soil untill some drains out of the bottom.

could it be chronic overwatering? if the soil is only dry to 1inch before watering that is a possibility. although it might look a bit different than the chronic overwatering pics i've seen on og. i can't remember exactly. where is it at in it's life cycle?

Legalizdahurb

Its almost there mabe a week or 2 more.

i just reread your last post, i'm thinkin ph problems causing various nute lock-outs. if you've never tested the ph then you don't even know what the ph of the nute solution you're watering with. to avoid ph problems, i use 1-2 tsp dolimitic lime per gall of soil and i also adjust the ph of water and nutes to the low 6's before giving anything to the plants. you also should let your pots dry out almost completely before watering. overwatering could also be a problem. i'm just trying to think of possibilities for you to look into.

Right i have been gently heating the pots 2 help it dryout a bit faster, this seams to have slowed the rusting. I have also knoticed fresh bud growth on the buds, :D so i am not sure when i will harvest. I will just have to keep an eye on it.
P.s. I will post some more pics soon but my camera is playing up.

its hapened to me ,its the miricle grow ,this soil give loads of nutes probs as itcontains its own on slow release and with you feeding on top the plant gets used to the nutes from the mg soil and your canna terra nutes and when the soil runs out of nutes, usualy about 3rd month and you stop given the canna terra the plant goes into severe withdrawl for a week or 2 turning the buds rusty dont flush her to much and she will be ok but the buds will stay rusty but fine ,
hope this is any use when i experianced this i ditched the mg after that done my brain in but ok for first grow learning process at leasdt you now know its a nono

find you a good organic pro mix and leave the mg alone. visit a plant nursery. it will pay off in the long run.

Your problem most likely stems from the fact that Miracle grow has ferts in it and then you say...you nuted with canna terra...so, we could surmise that you have burnt them...For future, get sterile soil with no ferts added. or buy 'The GoodShit'
Parts look good still. Use only distilled or ROwater until they look healthy again...and I would just take scissors and trim away badly burnt since you already have plant in shock mode... goodluck

note...research, leaching, to remove excess salts. hope this helps you on your way.lw

wait until soil is dry before flushing out ,containers look a little small for root growth, make sure plants don't sit in drainoff water for long,if you can not get to a nute store, use Peters Professional Plant Food(available at Ace Hardware stores and elsewhere) use only 1/3 to 1/4 strength...it has micro nutes too...nute buildup and salts can do a plant like that....make sure it has good air flow and good supply of CO2...K.

Yeah chaos its great for my first grow, it still smokes nice and i will have an idea of weight soon. The only things i really want 2 improve 4 my next grow is the dead leaf thing and mabe 2 get my buds denser.

Legalizdahurb

about 6 months tops but when i started i was using normal light bulbs and no nutes. Once i got my envirolite i noticed a big differance. I think next time round i wont grow it as big b4 i flower, i ran out of space and had 2 tye her back.
