Last night one of my friends hooked me up with someone he knew that was gonna sell me an ounce for 200$. I decided to meet the guy somewhere, and we did the transaction pretty quickly. Not long after the deal i decided to weigh the sack. I was disapointed to see only 16 grams on my scale. i was pissed. So i decided to confront the guy about it. First off he gave me shit for being a few bucks short on the 200$, but then i told him that the sack he gave me was 12 grams off. He denied what i said and told me yes the sack did weigh 1 ounce. I told him I'd look into it more later. This morning the sack weighted 11 grams (without the bag.) what the fuck  should i ask for my money back or what, i dont really wanna be a bitch and start shit, cause hes homies with one of my friends. But I just dont want to sit here and bitch, what should i do?

I was going to say maybe he moistened the bud to make it weigh more, but the weight wouldn't go down so drastically.
I'd have thought you'd notice 12 grams missing, that's almost half the ounce man.

get your money back. that's why it's good to have pocket scales. Or at least have the guy weigh it in front of you.

Of course say something if that bag is 12 grams off that's terrible. Call him up and tell him you want the rest of your weed now.

Maybe your scale is not calibrated right or something....because you'd notice that half of it is not there by eye. If it turns out that he really did rip you off then i suggest breaking into his house one day and jacking something.

dont advise him to do that, what are you stupid? but yes, confront him about it because I bet he would have done the same if you only gave him 100 bills but rookie move on your part for not seeing that half was missing.
confront him and if he does nothing, do not do anymore business with him. thats that. its a part of the game unfortunately :(

I agree....i wouldnt take it further than confronting him, when it was kinda your fault aswell...he is blatently going to try and turn it around saying that you are now trying to scam him out of weed when he gave you the right size, or somthing like that...
just dont do business with him again....its as simple as that :)
suxk you got scammed though.

If you aren't willing to get fucked over - don't buy drugs.
simple. Revenge is just stupid, and you get what you get. You, sir, I've lost much respect for. Your friend shouldn't have been in the market for so much E if he couldn't afford to lose the money on it.

how can you look at the bag and not notice that at least 12 grams was missing? thats your own fault. you should have made sure on the spot and said "hey, this doesnt look right" even if he measured it out in front of you, you can just look at the stash and tell if its an ounce or a little bit over a half ounce.

How do you not notice if the bag is full of hay and potatoes as soon as you get it?

blast, i dont know if what you did was right, but honestly, i think i wouldve done the same in your situation. Just be careful you dont get arrested for assault or something like that now.
burrito, that really sucks man. but hey, at least you didnt get ripped off as much as blast's friend did.
getting ripped off happens, but if you just tell the dealer that it MUST be weighed in front of you, or bring your own scale,(you can pick up a very nice digital pocket scale for around 25 dollars) things like this wouldnt happen

your scale is obviously not reading right, 5 grams doesnt just disappear like thatIt does when moisture that has been added to the bud artificially to make it heavier evaporates. I have weighed bags many a time that were different the next day. It's yet another gimmick people use to rip you off.
Solution: Throw something against a wall and never buy from him again. Ripping someone off once may sound great until you lose thousands in income because someone stops buying from you. This always comes back to bite dealers in the end so don't feel too taken by it.

We all have gone through some sort of rip-ff using MJ in our times, big or small. There are people just like that and you just have to move on past them. Getting revenge will only piss him off, then It'll just go back and forth until someone gets arrested or killed.
Never buy from this person again. Next time you get a new hook-up, just either take it, or leave it. I know if I was a dealer, honest or not, and someone demanded that I give them their bag first so they can weigh it, I'd tell them to fuck right off.
There are honest dealers out there, you just have to filter through the crap before you can get to them. If the bag doesn't look/feel like an ounce, then don't buy it, simple as that.
Peace.

I called the kid who got it for me, and he seemed pretty understanding to the fact that I was pissed off. His dealer already has the money and he says its too late, im not too pissed off anymore, and i know the kid wasnt trying to jack me- the dealer was. But anyhow, my other friend and I are gonna sell it and see if we can make a little dough.

Definitely call him on it. Ask him if he knows how many grams are supposed to be in an ounce.
