ok always wondered since we all talk about drugs (duh drug forum), what do the people who basically hate us talk about:confused: by that I mean the police. well i found out and for some reason found it quite creepy, maybe cuz i was high:stoned: reading about these guys bustin people and making fun of them, now i really know what cops say behind our backs..

i read the rules of membership just for shits and giggles, you dont have to be a cop and...."you can't come here and ask questions about how to sell or manufacturer illegal drugs for example (it's happened)"

Any of you remember when you were in high school [or maybe are] and there were always a certain number of "bullies" in any school ? Now this just applies in certain cases, 'cause there are a few cops who are cool, but I've seen a lot of these bullies just almost naturally go into law enforcement, even though many of them had records [couldn't have been for a felony, but some bad stuff sometimes]. So how do you think someone who was like this as a kid is going to act when they can do what they love to do anyway with the authority of the state, or US, and have a whole lot of leeway.
That old Tom Selleck Movie "An Innocent Man" is a real example of what cops can get away with.
So anyway, yeh, I'd sure say they laugh like crazy about us; I've known people
who served rough sentences for illegal "drugs". But, there are still just a few cool ones who actually light up whenever they can.

that's crazy talk, man. there's no stereotype when it comes to careers. that's like saying that all the nerdy kids in school go off to be computer engineers. or even more relevant, highschool drop-outs receive welfare.

cops are taught in training that cannabis is deadly addicitive and that those who use it should be considered dangerous.. Thats what they think. every-once-in-a-while you get a cop that disagrees with the status quo and will let you go. DONT TRUST COPS They are NOT like us. They do NOT think like us. Cops do suck, but they do good too. Without them alot more crack heads, rapists and murders would be on the streets. My dad knows alota cops. WHen they arent in uniform they are cool. THey are regular beer drinking guys who like to have fun. I dont think they burn though..........

I work at a state university and it's actually sad how many times we arrest someone for drugs and they look at us and say, "But, I'm a Justice and Law major, now I won't be able to get a job as a [*insert here*]- or - I'm a Elementary/Secondary Ed major; now you have ruined my life."

We just tell them to change majors.These are people whose salaries are paid in lives ruined and dreams shattered. How absolutely disgusting.

as for cops, ganj is right, its only a job, they get payed to bust ppl, its just that most cops just happen to be assholes, i've had one expierence where i was caught with hash but the guy let me off cuz he could see i wasnt dealin, that it was just for personal use, all i got was a caution and he let me keep my shit, i had about a score of hash which would be 1/4 of an ounce so that was kl of him, some cops are ok and are not assholes all the time.

These people went into the profession with the pretense that they would be making a living putting their neighbors in jail for petty crimes. It's not their job, it's their fucking goal in life.

I was really busy yesterday and was in my car a lot. I had never seen as many people pulled over for traffic violations ever in one day. Coincidence? More like a hole in the budget that needed filling.

Cops are just like anyone else. Some are ok, some are cool as shit and others are assholes. When some people get a little power they abuse it. But not all are like that, although there are quite a few.
Growing up 3 of my neighbors were cops and they were cool.
2 girls I dated had fathers that were cops, they were cool. Most of you guys know you never know what to expect when meeting a girls dad. Half of them hate you before they even meet you because no one is good enough for his little girl.
I worked as a bouncer when I was in college and I had to deal with many cops. A lot were dicks... but a lot cool too. About half and half... but shit that's about how life is. You are going to meet a lot of assholes. Half the people I've worked with were assholes. At least half my neighbors are assholes. Shit, half the stoners I've met are assholes. I guess it can apply parents too... my mom was cool as shit... my father is a dickhead... lol.

I think the real problem is in the court system.

A little off topic, but did anyone else read that article about the quadriplegic that was arrested in DC with a joint. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail. He died after a couple days because they wouldn't allow him his respirator in jail. He never should have been in jail to begin with. One joint... wtf.
