How many of the Oscar best picture nominees have you seen?

I have seen all but â??Brokeback Mountainâ?� so far and Iâ??m getting ready to watch it now So far this is what I think â??

#1 Munich
This movie is just so damn good. Very rough and disturbing and makes you just sick of both the Jews and Muslims and all their bullshit fighting. This movie is so will written, directed, acted and filmed it is defiantly my pick for best picture so far. The best Spielberg movie since Schindler's List in my opinion!

#2 Capote
A very moving story with some of the best acting I have seen in a while. Philip Seymour Hoffman is good in everything he does but this roll was absolutely brilliant! He should get best actor for this role but I have not seen Walk The Line yet and I know Joaquin Phoenix is supposed to be amazing in it. Hoffman has to be very close in that running though!

#3 Crash
This is by far the most main stream movie nominated this year and I thought it was very good. It deserves to be nominated but I do not think it deserves to win. It was just too contrived for my taste. Plus itâ??s a little too main stream and just not that original. It reminds me of a watered down Pulp Fiction that is trying to make a point about racism that most people already know. But still it is a very good movie!

#4 Good Night and Good Luck
This is the only movie I donâ??t think deserved to be nominated. Though I think itâ??s a very good movie I do not think its better than Syriana and was really disappointed that it was nominated and Syriana was not. I just thought the directing fell short, it was Clooneyâ??s first major direction gig and I just do not think it is Oscar material. The lengthy news footage in the middle seems kind of cheap. But I did love the subject of the film, just do see it as deserving a nomination. Syriana should be in its place and if it had been nominated I would have put it in the #3 spot ahead of Crash!!!

I will be posting what I think of Brokeback after I see it and put it in the # order. Please add your own comments about all these movies.

You should not pass judgment on movies you havenâ??t seen. Thatâ??s why I'm not saying anything good or bad about Brokeback until I have seen it.

And Crash was a good movie but it is not the best picture. Both Capote and Munich are much better movies. Its not JUST that Crash is mainstream it was just too silly for me. Two cops pull over that couple, the next day one saves the woman from a burning car and the other one save the other from getting shot by police, then the guy even drives by the car the other cop set on fire at the end. That is ridicules and totally contrived and non plausible. It was really a cheesy story only saved by excellent acting. If it wasnâ??t for the acting this movie would not deserve to even be nominated.

Its funny that you want it to win best picture but you have not even seen ANY of the other movies. I would say you are not in a very good position to past judgment at all about what should win best picture if you have not seen any of the other movies.

So I just saw Brokback Mountain. I have to say this is an incredible film! Man, it is so sad, such good acting. Wow!

All the hype and controversy are just really stupid. There is only one small gay sex scene in this that doesnâ??t even show any nudity. Other then that it is just an incredibly good love story. Iâ??m not gay, not even close. I am very comfortable with my sexuality and maybe thatâ??s why I was not bothered buy the fact itâ??s about two men. Honestly you forget about all that after about mid way through. Itâ??s just a very sad, touching love story and anyone that can not get past the homosexual aspect of the movie and see it for what it is I think has some personal issues.

I really was not expecting to like this movie this much. I thought all the hype over it would make it less of an impact but now I see the hype is very justified. The acting, writing and directing are just as good as it gets. This movie does deserve best picture. Itâ??s absolutely fantastic!!

Ang Lee defiantly deserves to win best director! If you like great movies you really need to see this movie!!

Brokeback defiantly moves into #1 on my list. Itâ??s a masterpiece!

In fact what I consider to be the greatest movie of all time is about this, â??Casablancaâ?�! No one tryâ??s to hang their political and or religious or personal belief hat on that movie!! Go watch it again; Ingrid Bergman cheats on her husband by having sex with Humphy Bogart, more than once!!! Again this is one out of thousands of movies like this!!

So do the same plot and make them gay and all of a sudden people like you are trying to use that as some kind of reason to not like it!! Well to use a cowboy term, that dog wont hunt!! You are just scared by homosexuality, plan and simple!

But honestly that is part of what would make you like it so much.
