ups question

my friend ordered somthing to a house where no one lives.... the drivway is not plaowed and has like 2feet of snow. will the ups driver think no one lives there and not deliver the package?

I think what they will do is leave a sticky note for two days telling you they will try again the next day. After that I think they either send it back to sender or hold it for you for a short while.
